That 3500 means the car will run for another 150k miles with basic maintenance (oil, fuel, tires, brakes, coils, etc.). Well worth the cost.

Tires and brakes are wear items, and don't cost 2500 to replace. You're looking at realistically 600 for tires and 400-500 for new brake pads/rotors all around. If you do the work yourself and pay to get the tires mounted you're out 80-150 more bucks.

And you can easily get a new lift gate handle or shock or whatever

Except most people will speed up to get behind the truck, and then slow down so they don't hit them, and that ripples back through traffic to more stop and go.

I play this game every day and get a kick out of the people cutting in front of me, speeding up, and then slamming on their brakes at the stopped traffic in

How are half of them not even wearing shoes? Isn't the ground hot there?

Wheels, not tires... jeez, can't you guys check in with your autoblog sisters over on jalopnik?

Because they don't want to be poor when they get older?

If they did something like that but with a triple clutch gearbox (instead of the current dual clutch's you see in the porsche/vw/audi/bmw/etc.) it could be more effective. Instead of having to wait to do a double downshift, you would already have a clutch there ready to engage.

It's doable, and it makes sense to gear

That's all I could think of when I saw that. *odd music* Snake? SNAKE? SNAAAAAAAKKKKEEEEEE!!!>!>>!>???!?!>!<?"
