So i like this thing. I like how it looks. And I’m not tryina ask a troll question. I’m legit asking. If I was okay with FWD (as in, no interest in paying for AWD in Florida for a 4 door -nicer than a econobox- daily driver car). Why would I buy this over an Accord 2.0 Touring. Looks aside because I think they both

Thats cool bro, cuz the Trackhawk is outta his price range anyway. But the SRT isn’t. Its perfect for what he’s looking for. Durango or GC SRT can’t be beat for the money/power/space/cool factors.

correct answer is correct.

I get the interest beacuse its forbidden fruit. but these GTSs or whatever they are look like stretched out chevy caviliers to me. if it ever actually was sold here I dont think anyone would give two shits about these things.

Well cept for the drift nuts.

The S14s of the erra were 100% better looking.

100% Winner answer right here.

If I was going to spend 20k on some cool one off safari project, I’d start with a 1994 Honda Integra ZXi. - complete with factory full time AWD of course. Should be able to import and build one for that kinda money easily.

For me, we had two cars with MTs. An S2000 and a Prelude. We wanted a car my wife could drive without needing to deal with the clutch and to have longer drives and be a DD. I really wanted an M3 with a stick, but the compromise was to get the DCT.  I dont regret it one bit. The car has lightning quick shifts and I

Obviously it was an attempt at sarcasm... guess I failed.

Doesn’t negate the fact that Toyota refuses to actually build interesting vehicles on their own, or update/make relevant their own interesting vehicles.

I’m pissed about the 4runner because I want one but can’t figure out how they’re letting it age so badly

No money/time/resources to build your own supra, but you got time/money/resources for space vehicles? A 4Runner can’t get an infotainment system from 2001+ but ya got solar panels on on an the FJ Moon Cruisers... so thats cool.

By your logic a Camry is a fantastic vehicle. If you agree with that in anyway we we’re done here.

PS Interesting engines? What interesting engines? Other than the V6TT they literally JUST released. They haven’t made an interesting engine since the LFA, and before that since god knows when.

For the record, I’m not saying Acura makes great power plants. The J series is awesome but jsut as dated as everything in a

No you see. Acura wants to do better. They dont have the money/resources/persmission to do the things they want to do because they are hampered by Honda in Japan. Things are changing at Acura. NSX was first (ok fine that took forever). The RDX is fantastic, far from trash and far superior to the NX. And is selling

As for your last comment, I love BMW. But things aren’t going the way Id like them to. And I’m in love with the latest crop of AMGs and am dying to try a new 53 coupe.

That said, I’ve still got my M3 from an era when things were just fine, and I still love it to death. But I’m not blind. I’m not happy with BMW’s moves

PS. Lexus is struggling as in they’re not able to make a truly class leading car at a competitive price point. Their new V6TT is the greatest thing to happen to the brand and for now its stuck in one vehicle thats over priced.

Yes people are buying RXs in droves. But they do so on reputation not on merrit.

That said,

We’ll just have to agree to disagree.

I dont wanna fight you. I can just outrun you in my BMW. lol

That said, my last car was a 2015 IS350 F Sport. One of my favorite vehicles I’ve ever owned was an 1999 GS400. I want to like Lexus. I really really do.

But to say they ‘make good cars’ just like saying they’re trash, is all relative.

Since you responded

Threw up in my mouth a little bit.

It looks soooo hoorrible in the picture you posted. But I’m still torn beacuse I see it once in a while from a different angle and I dont hate it.

I’m not mad about the comments on the GS/LS... they’re great, just absurdly priced for what they are.

As for the ES, Avalon. they’re both hideous. the ES less so, but good god that Avalon has got to be int he top 5 ugliest things on the road.

I could totally buy a GSF... used.  Again at 90k new, they’ve priced it out of any reasonable person’s common sense.  Since I have no doubt tehy’ll run forever/bulletproof style I’d totally consider one used, with or without warranty. Something I’d never do for BMW/Audi/Merc.
