Hey we’re just gonna have to agree to disagree on a subjective topic. The prius has never been remotely good looking but the new one is especially horrendus IMO.

OP thanks for posting this up. I’ve wrenched a lot in my day, swapped motors, replaced bushings all over the place, etc. etc. Welding has always intimidated me and its something I really want to learn how to do, but have no resources (people to teach me).
You say that you learned a lot from you tube. Great. Its how I…

tHIS. Its so annoying to read that everything resembles X. With all of the crash /pedestrian/ MPG parameters designers have to work with these days theres no only so much that can be different anymore.
This. Same reason I appreciate the new Honda Insight.
I know its a completely different class of car, but this is why I like honda’s latest insight... it looks like a normal car, its closest competitor, the prius is the ugliest thing on the road and just screams barf.
Seriously. Dont think anyone will shed a tear here.
The cost of a bumper (when I assume u carry insurance) when and if you should get in an accident is a large determining factor as to why you’d chose the Camry over an IS?
Well alrighty then.
I do understand the premium gas argument though. I guess if I’m spending 40k on any car, the difference in cost of Premium vs…
The ugliness. The price. The still shitty bloated feeling driving it. The 3 inch opening of the sunroof. The lack of car play and android auto.
There isn’t. A damn thing. I wanna know about this thing. Other than, why would anyone spend 40k on this when the Lexus IS exists.
What can I do to afford one? Thats what I’d like to know about it. :D
It looks huge. I like the features/functionality, but feel like it would take up most of a carry on?

Does this thing hold shape when it’s hung? I got a similarly designed one from Target a few years back and every time I hang it on a towel bar, its ‘shoulders’ kinda fold forward, in on itself, and its a pain in the butt. I find myself taking it down and putting it on the countertop to get things in and out of.
I’d…

I like it, but concerned its too small??

Mine’s been fine too. Chrysler has a well deserved shitty reputation for its history. This latest batch of cars have been around forever, all the kinks are worked out .. mine has been flawless.
I was a supporter of the stance scene when it came out. I liked the idea of wheels flushed to the body vs tucked into the fender wells. I guess when I think back about it, my interest really is more ‘hella flush’ than ‘stanced yo’. Beacuse these guys try to flush, and then also slam the car to the ground and the only…
I’m 100% with you. Let them sell the basic shit to all the fools who dont know any better. AT least they’re reinvesting it into making interesting shit, which is a lot more than I can say for other companies (i’m looking at you toyota)
Given the crash test standards in play today, I think they did a fantastic job. All these companies are forced to have this vertical face it seems due to stupid pedestrians who apparently can’t be bothered to look both ways.
So given that constraint I think they did a fantastic job. The only thing I find offensive on…
Only dream in life. an Imola Orange 2002 NSX, and now this. ::the drool is massive and real::
I’ve never been an FCA fan either. Till I got one. I love my Durango. It does everything I ask of it and feels great at 100mph. All for about 40k. Dont know what more you could want for the money if you’re not down with the crossover craze and you also dont want or need a fullsize BOF vehicle.
I also think it looks…
I 100% respect this car’s performance chops. There can be no dispute that its an amazing machine. But good looking it isn’t and never has been in any of its generations as prior to the R35 it may as well have been a hopped up maxima.
