Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to be busy preparing to defend myself from the all-arbor-day-attack Villager Amiibos some players on Reddit said they were preparing after seeing Chadtronic's video.

Anecdote time:

Nice!

"You are already coal"

Snake, Mega Man, Sonic, and Pac-Man are like the friends of the family who were invited to the shindig for a sweet party and got caught up in all the ruckus.

Was it "Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery"? I think it went something like that. I can only imagine what Scott Cawthon thinks of all these imitators now that his games have skyrocketed up the pop culture charts!

Okay. Here's a question that I want to pose just as a general curiosity.

Okay Activision, if you REALLY want to sell us on a new King's Quest, then Josh Mandel better be voicing King Grah... actually if this is a re-envision of the original game, I guess in this he'd be "Sir" Graham. But seriously, if it's not Josh Mandel, I'm gonna be peeved!

You both have good points. 1) It's planned to be a Trilogy, but given that The Banner Saga devs got their foothold via Kickstarter to make the game in the first place, they likely had a contingency plan so they could live with a single game if it didn't sell well. 2) The fact that plans for the sequel and said

Sounds to me like a Zenki situation:

I hear yah. Just the other day, my little brother and I were talking about them and he told me how he's a bit bummed that there's no Ness Amiibo yet. I went and checked the Wave announcements and Ness isn't listed! Hopefully he'll make Wave 4 (which we all know is going to happen; Nintendo's going to have all

Maybe do something like a "Limited Edition" run? They'd be limited to like production numbers in... say... 500 to 1000 units or something like that. Be hellsa expensive, as you mentioned, but the collectors would eat that right up.

Okay, so let's take Nintendo and Amiibo, as well as Figma, and have them do one of these numbers:

Now playing

Probably one of the biggest problems with the internet is that it isn't the easiest medium for parenting. Kids can hop online, start talking trash, and get up to all kinds of antics without their parents being none the wiser. Whether it be a lack of technical savvy or kids being clever enough to cover their tracks,

Here are some dramatic renderings of what it was like trying to get one of these at the stores:

I would imagine they'd have some means of simulating that as well since if they're pushing a ton of marketing money into a game title, I'd imagine that they expect lots of people to pick up and buy the game. And if that means lots of people going online and playing multiplayer, then they should anticipate high

Did this glitch apply to both the GCN and Wii versions, or just one but not the other? And if the GCN version was glitchy, there was no way to patch that post release, so while Nintendo may have fixed it in future printings of the game, I'm curious about what they did, if anything, for those that bought the game and

You have a point there. If they could actually beta test a game over the internet with beta testers around the country/world who have signed on to help them out, they could test things out on the internet quite nicely if not for two potential problems:

Very interesting. I actually know a few people that are Nintendo devotees and buy their systems for Zelda alone (My stepmother's mother (step-grandmother?)) bought an N64 years ago just so she could play Ocarina of Time.

Fair enough, but what about the big issues that are quickly found and noted on launch? Like the ones for SimCity, for example, wouldn't something like the testing you just described be able to have caught and prevent that sort of thing from happening?
