Was that trailer comprised only of stock footage?

I understand that there’s a lot that goes on behind the scenes to get a movie/TV show off the ground, but it drives me bonkers when a studio announces a project, and then literally no news comes of it for years. When the studio gets asked what’s going on with the project, they respond with, “Oh no, this is still very

Yeah, which completely screws the Suns over because his trade value is super low now, leaving them even more deficient at the 4 spot. Just when I thought they were poised to make a legitimate playoff run this season.

Markieff and his jackass brother repayed the Suns’ unique and generous offer to them by racking up an astonishing number of technical fouls, assaulting a guy for text messaging their mom, and blowing up in Hornacek’s face on national TV (Marcus). Seriously fuck these guys. This is a business, and there was never any

I came here to post almost the same thing. I enjoy all of the M:I movies, but I think the only one where the team wasn’t disavowed/branded traitors was M:I2. Pretty much in every one of them they’re own their own and/or being hunted by their own people.

Maybe to some extent, but I think the two Thor films and Guardians kind of invalidates the argument that there is no stylistic difference between the MCU films.

I don’t know, I think they’ve done a pretty good job of it so far. For example, both Iron Man III and The Winter Soldier functioned pretty autonomously from the greater MCU narrative (i.e., dealing with Infinity Stones or Thanos), and aside from brushing aside why no other Avengers showed up to help, they told their

But nothing can prepare us for the aliens’ advanced and unprecedented force.

I agree. Invasions tend to work better when given some foresight and not done all willy nilly and launched on a whim.

Cool as Ice is in no way, shape, or form an action movie; it’s an underrated romantic comedy! And is responsible for perhaps the most romantic line in cinema history:

The only thing this trailer is missing is a record scratch somewhere after an “outrageous” line, and then it’s descent into every romantic comedy trailer cliche will be complete.

Amy nails it. But let’s talk about how awesome Bill Hader’s amalgamation of Letterman and Conan totally elevated this sketch.

Fellowship is by far the best film in the trilogy. While it streamlined and discarded numerous elements from the source material, it still managed to stay as close to the book as any film version could possibly hope to, all while efficiently introducing you to Middle-earth and setting the historical background to the

This show had a pretty rough first season. BUT it had enough B-movie schlock to warrant giving Season 2 a chance. If they can actually tighten up the writing this season, it might turn into an actually decent show. However, confidence is not high.

To be fair, it had a relationship to said book of the same title, mainly...the same title.

Wow, some actual movement on this project. I remember back in, like, 2007 when it was announced that Toby Motherfucking McGuire was trying to get a movie off the ground. Then shit went dark...until now.

Pretty sure the only thing Stark supplied for Project Insight were the repulsor lifts that replaced the turbo props on the Insight Helicarriers.

It totally is and I came here to say the same thing. That's a Sarah Connor original.

Man, I'm really surprised that Dredd lost "tons of money", as Garland states. The movie was made relatively inexpensively, so you'd think it would have at least broke even; certainly not be a significant financial loss for the studio. Alas, this is why we can't have nice things.

It's a frustrating situation to be in as a Suns fan. On the one hand, it seems like the FO could have avoided this whole situation by not altering the backcourt chemistry that worked so well when Bledsoe was healthy last year.
