So...an SNL skit?
So...an SNL skit?
I was wondering the same thing.
Not enough phalluses being inserted into frightening mechanical vagina-esque orifices to really be considered H.R. Giger-inspired.
Supersonic Nazi Rocket. Now I know what to name my band.
Other "metal" bands that date your movie as an artifact from the early-2000s: Staind, Evanescence, Limp Bizkit, Slipknot, Papa Roach, Disturbed, P.O.D., Mudvayne, anyone got anything else?
They really need to pick up the pace on the B-storylines. From what it sounds like, they will eventually converge with the main narrative, but as it stands now, they're virtually grinding the momentum of the episodes to a halt, and are pretty uninteresting.
I see where Holy Wayne gets his inspiration.
Seems unlikely. Max is seen driving his Pursuit Special in the trailer to Fury Road, which was destroyed in The Road Warrior. If Fury Road takes place after The Road Warrior, that wouldn't make a whole lot of sense. No information released so far confirms whether or not it's in-continuity with the original films, but…
Does Max have a brace on his leg, or a limp? That would definitely point to continuity with at least the first film...
I really want to know if this is some kind of sequel/interquel, or a full blown reboot. Not much has been said if this movie exists in the original Mad Max film continuity, or if it re-imagines ideas from every one of the original films into something new entirely, and doesn't necessarily relate to the previous films…
Haha, I know, I figured. I just thought it was pretty funny. Can we not make it a thing?
"....only in areas that are already conge."
You can do it. You just have to have them take their helmets off once in a while. It's tough with Master Chief because you never see him out of his armor and he was intentionally stoic in the games so the players could project themselves onto him. But in Halo 4 and Spartan Ops, the Spartan IV characters got pretty…
That's what I was thinking. This is pre-Spartan IV program for Locke.
Well, Jameson Locke, the main character in this, is a Spartan IV working for ONI, so I thought it was strange to see him on-mission without MJOLNIR armor on at any point.
Man, no Spartans in the trailer.
They're two separate things. Nightfall is a miniseries/movie produced by Ridley Scott in advance of Halo 5's release. The actual TV series is supposed to air on Showtime (and perhaps Xbox as well?) sometime next year and is produced by Steven Spielberg. They're two different projects.
Totally. I was out-of-my-mind excited when I first heard about that game. Battlecry ended up being pretty decent, but I think it really only appealed to fans of the show. Never played Invasion, but I had heard it wasn't bad either.
I'm not sure I understand your point, or what Stars Wars and its them score has to do with what I was saying. I was simply making the point that all of the Sentinels novels by Jack McKinney were removed from Robotech canon when Shadow Chronicles came out. The Sentinels novels were good. Shadow Chronicles wasn't. It…
I guess we'll find out in Nightfall and Halo 5!
