So I was watching a show the other day, I think it was on the American History Channel. It was the story of the “competition” between Edison and Tesla. Edison was in favor of D/C power because it had already been widely used, not to mention he also held several patents on the technology. Tesla was working on and

First off, I’m pro-choice. But even I recognize that the trafficking of unborn baby parts by PP is absolutely disgusting. Everything about their attitude, the heartless nature is inhuman. All the talk about “attacking women’s health” is just another bullshit narrative played out by partisan assholes. I don’t have the

When I flip the swtich to turn wifi calling on, I get a privacy warning. Part of it says:

This sounds exactly like “Family Safety” found on Windows 7. Maybe Windows 8 too, I don’t know. I can block certain content and, as it says in the article, logs websites and programs used. Then emails the parent with the info. I’ve used it for my own child. It IS NOT a keylogger. For Windows 7, it had to be

Don’t mind me, I’m just admiring the updraft on that huge cumulonimbus in the background.

Can’t help but wonder if Gizmodo, or any other GM blog, would promote a kinja article to the front page that fully supported the 2nd Amendment and the right for all citizens to own guns (those who can own them legally, that is). I seriously doubt it. Never seen one on Giz. But hey, this is 2015 in America, after all.

Dear God that is just the most perfect noise.

So if you’re on an old version of Windows that isn’t eligible for the upgrade (like XP or Vista), installing the Preview can get you in the door.

That or self driving cars will negate all this stuff.

The problem with the Freedom Act as it is right now is that there’s still a possibility the govt. can subpoena call records and simply write “Verizon” or “AT&T” as the name on the records they’re retrieving. As a result, they’d still be gathering everyone’s call records, just as they did before, instead of an

Rutledge Wood (from American Top Gear fame) has a new show on History where him & his buddy restore classic cards. Oddly enough, he started with a Delorean. He wanted to see if it could actually make it to 88mph, so at the end of the episode, he took their restored Delorean (stock engine) to Atlanta Motor Speedway.

That same Ninja set is $40 on walmart.com as well. I bought it two years ago on black Friday for $29. Handy dandy tool.

Why the hell did the guy with the dash cam come barreling up on an emergency vehicle with it's lights on? Then proceed to tailgate said emergency vehicle and blast his horn at a cop trying to make a stop. Regardless of the right or wrong of the technique the cop was using, the douche in the camera car had no business

To play a bit of devil's advocate here, WWE just can't win with some of you. You get tired of the same ole guys getting pushed to the top, so you complain. What does WWE do? I see them trying to give opportunities to some of the new talent, a new tactic for WWE brass. What do you do? You boo and bitch because they're

I didn't think my initial comment was incendiary as to illicit such a snarky response.

If you buy the newest version, keep the a/c adapter, and try to sell your old one online, you have to tell potential buyers that it does not come with an a/c adapter. That will more than likely hurt your chances of selling it, at least a little.

Kind of odd that they don't pair the car mount with the car charger. I'd much rather have that combo.

My son wants to follow in my footsteps and join the AF one day. Told him nothing would make me more proud, but don't be SP (now SF). Told him to seriously think about becoming a refueling boom operator. Can't beat the view. These photos just might convince him.

Now playing

Surviving crew members of the USS Arizona, if they so choose when they die, can have their cremated remains returned to the ship to be with their fallen shipmates that they left behind that fateful day.

If it was hijacked by terrorists to be used as a weapon later, there's absolutely no reason to believe they would've used it by now. Terrorist groups can be notoriously patient people. Waiting for what they consider the most perfect moment to strike. The passengers could've been taken captive or killed if deemed
