Thank you for this look into your home cuisine! It reminds me of recipes here in the midwest. Mom’s is always the best!

I hate that one of my favorite places on the internet is staffed by some of the most amazing people on earth while being administrated by some of the worst. Good luck out there, and keep being your amazing self. I’ll read anything you write, anywhere you write it.

I’ve been told that it’s weird that I salt and pepper my cottage cheese. I’ve also been told (back in the before times) that it’s weird to use salad bar cottage cheese as dressing for my greens. I put it all in the same container, and it got mixed up on the way home one time, and I found that it was so good!

Seconded. We go through pasta sauce faster than vegetable oil, so we just use the jar for discarding fats.

Meijer isn’t my preferred place to shop for groceries, but it’s perfectly good. Their produce is pretty darn good, and I can always swing through and get some non-grocery stuff as well. It’s my preferred big box store for practicality, for sure. For just groceries, I will likely not go to Walmart. It’s fine, I just

The summer between high school and college, I was kicking around the hometown for the summer, and several of my friends were home as well. My best friend invited me over to hang out at another guy’s house, who, in my mind, was at least six levels cooler than I could ever be. I drove my $500 1984 Cavalier (This was

It’s STOCK. JUST CALL IT STOCK. Hard agree!

My shorthand is a dollar per item minimum. If the beverage is pricey or hard to make, I do more, of course, but my tastes are usually pretty simple.

When I’m alone, and I’ve finished something like a sundae or a container of dip, I sometimes just sweep my finger through the remnants and lick my finger clean. Or just lick the container...

Don’t let the mustard lobby make you feel bad! Ketchup belongs on hot dogs!

Pizza Hut Meat Lover’s Pizza. Ugh.

Rhys Nicholson’s special on Netflix is also excellent.

As a Six of Crows devotee, I was all ready to hate the show, but you know what? It was like the best fanfiction prequel to that series. And what they did with Malina? *chef’s kiss* Love it. Can’t wait to see what they do next!

You won’t catch me eating IN a restaurant for a couple of years yet, even though I am vaccinated, but for my birthday, my roommate and I went out to the patio of one of our favorite local brewpubs and ordered way too much food, dessert, and beer, and it was Amazing.

In Denver, we had stopped into Union Station and tried some artisanal ice cream, a blackberry-vanilla base with brownie chunks and a marshmallow swirl. We had just eaten, so I got a small cone. I thought about that ice cream for three days, so when we found ourselves back in that area on the last day of our trip, I

THANK YOU! I cannot eat green apple flavored things thanks to a rookie college student drinking mistake. (Everyone’s been there, I’m sure) And the green apple doesn’t go well with the other flavors anyway. I’m going to stockpile these, mix them up with the other flavors, sans green apple, and live my best life.

No cops at Pride! All Pride celebrations should follow suit. (Also, removing them by a block doesn’t make me feel great. People still have to move through that perimeter)

Yeah, the way they handled all of it was both far too subtle and ham-fisted at best. To the point where I’ve seen white dudes on Twitter saying that Walker is their new favorite character and heard a very conservative officemate say that “I like that it didn’t get too much into the race thing. Nobody wants that.” Ugh.

No book spoilers, but this is rampant in the book fandom too. The thing is, this isn’t just Shadow and Bone. Kylo Ren, whatever the hell is up with The Kissing Booth, this kind of irredeemable abusive villain set up as a “bad boy with a heart of gold” kind of trope is all wrong.  Some YA leans hard into those ships,

Like everything I watch on YouTube is food related. Haha.
