I went to school with a guy named Freedom. I'd feel like a jerk posting his last name (his full name HAS to be quite uncommon) but it also started with and F and teachers always thought his name was made up.

When I was in grade school in the mid 90s there were a few Brookes in my grade and a Brooklyn a year younger than me (small-town Iowa school) and I remember thinking Brooklyn was the weirdest name. This would have been before I probably knew about the borough (because Iowa).

Exactly. I worked for a small retail store that did a promotion with groupon- was it sometimes frustrating? Sure. But no one blamed Groupon for that; we knew our manager was the one who picked the promotion and virtually just paid Groupon to advertise it.
