I think it was more obnoxious (trying not to use the word "lazy", but...) that the main characters all apparently dated one person as teenagers and just stuck with them. Though I understand that it would have been kind of a weird epilogue to suddenly introduce characters who had nothing to do with the series.

I have always found him loathsome and could never sit through a single minute of his films and could not understand how anyone else could bear a minute of his weasely, pervy face. When his pedo-bear tendencies came out it's like an "aha" moment.

I have Jezebel and Netflix split-screened on my computer. With Arrested Development playing on one side, it looked for a sec that Jez was running a story about a older Portia De Rossi look-alike on the other side...

As long as future ads don't go with a "she's not like other girls, she's one of the guys!" angle, I'm down with it!

Plus the headlines for the tabloid feature are always intentionally hyperbolic to mock the content the article discusses. "This week in the tabloids- Jennifer Anniston alone, sad, and pregnant with twins!"

They do regular, non-live rifftrax commentaries!

Mitch Albom* is a former sports writer who wrote the widely successful "The Five People you Meet in Heaven." He's a little schmaltzy. I think that's who the commentator was referring to.

It deserves to be a thing!

So I called off from work today after a series of dental procedures (complete with oxycodone prescription), and I think that is what I'll blame for thinking your * meant "correction." I spent several minutes trying to see a difference in how you and I spelled Hemmingway... before I just read the rest of your post.

Wait, so is Cindy related to Hemmingway, or the person who originated that quote?

I know this wasn't your intent and you're looking at things through the lens of your profession, but your comment totally reminded me of this joke (that I'm sure you've heard before):
A psychologist comes across a murder victim and exclaims, "Good heavens! How troubled the poor soul who did this must have been!"

I usually reserve most of my disdain for Gaga. Here is one time I'm applauding her.

So she's somewhere between "can't sing" and "can sing", you're saying.

I was surprised neither of these were mentioned in the article as they're two recent, darker roles for her.

Sunday, when shared the post, marked the one year anniversary of the day she reached 100 days post transplant, on 12/29/12

Eh, I guess I'm more the type of person who enjoys having a party day/getting well-wishes and gifts. And doing the same for others.

Except the R. Kelly one was positively excreting sarcasm.

Your writing style just reminded me that I need to catch up on horse_ebooks.

As someone who has dealt with bulimia, alcohol abuse, gambling problems and overall poor impulse control, the first thing I thought of when I read that was [citation needed].

I'm going to go with the latter since being aware of an actress/singer's existence has absolutely nothing to do with objectifying women.
