As someone who works at a middle school, many, many, many 7th and 8th graders wear makeup all the time and wouldn’t dream of not.

Mercenary is definitely a better description of her job. She does not seek out bounties. She is hired by organizations, usually the Galactic Federation, to perform a specific task, but she is not herself under their command.

Ridley is the leader of the space pirates, or in some cases co-leader with Mother Brain. Ridley is not a bounty hunter and never has been as far as Nintendo has told us.

That... is one I haven’t played. Everything else is from a game that I’ve at least played the demo of (or in FNAF’s case, have watched enough Let’s Play / Game Theory videos to know the series well.)

Oh man, I forgot about Owlboy, Axiom Verge, and Dead Cells. Those 3 should definitely be on the list.

It also has Yookya & Laylee in it! It looks good, but since it’s an entirely different type of fighting game (Smash Bros style vs Street Fighter style), I think there’s room for both.

To be fair, there could be an entire Binding of Issac fighting game with 20 characters, each using unique items, and they could play totally different.

But I’m down with that!

This is amazing and I hope it’s as good as it looks. The fact that Shovel Knight, Binding of Issac, and Cave Story have made it into the game means that my 3 most desired characters are already included.

That is indeed one aspect. Now, they also have extra special moves, different ultras, Ken’s better with Shoryuken while Ryu is better with Hadouken, Ken’s Hurricane Kick descends over time while Ryu stays parallel with the ground, and other things.

If you’re talking in the original SFII, they were!   But in each game following, they grew more and more different while still having the same style and many similar basic attacks. 

Think of them more like Ken and Ryu in Street Fighter. Similar, but not exactly the same.

Most top lists are subjective, but damn, not this much. I disagree with over half of this list. And the missing games are painful to me.

Of course, that does raise the eternal question...

Hoping for a Switch version mostly.

I do, but nobody I know wants to play a fighting game on a PC, and I have a hard time sitting in front of my computer with a fighting game. RPG, action, strategy, puzzle, all fine. It’s weird.
