IX is my favorite FF. And it’s always been too easy (with the exception of the optional battles). That’s usually my only complaint. I can’t think of a single instance that matches what you’re talking about.

Correct, my mistake.

I’ve heard worse ideas. There is definitely a decent selection to choose from. The only problem is, most of their franchises are long dead. In the past 2 generations, what has been around? We have Sonic and Bayonetta in the game already. I could see Super Monkey Ball, Project Diva, a rep from the Shining and Virtual

No, no. Zidane saves. Cloud was from VII.

(yes, I’m joking)

PSVita and PS4? I’m guessing?

...and writing comics, and making films, and hosting more podcasts than I think any single other person on record. Something like 5 over hour long podcasts weekly now, with production values, fans, etc. He’s not just consuming media, he’s producing it. That’s a lot better than someone doing a mindless job they hate.

True, in this example it’s unlikely because of how huge Yokai watch is among that population. I was more referring to the general idea of counting movie success.

True, but you should also consider it how much people are willing to spend on tickets. People in Japan were willing to spend 2 million more on Star Wars than Yokai. If they cost the same price, would it have made more money? Maaaaybe. Or maybe if they were the same price, people would have chosen to see Star Wars

And yet, it was the first appearance of Bobombs, Birdo, and Shy Guys. For a “not really a Mario game”, they sure took a lot from it!

Should be an alternate costume in Smash Bros.

Or... most fans of both series are just fans and don’t talk about it. Or if they do, it’s in passing. I’m a huge fan of both, but it’s not the end all of the universe and all I discuss.

Exactly. I don’t know where people go that it’s become oppressive. I just heard people talking about how good the game is here and there. It’s far from everywhere.

There’s a difference between not playing a game BECAUSE it’s popular (that would be a hipster thing) and not playing a game even though it’s popular (that’s a matter of taste). You never have to play anything of course.

I want custom moves for all the DLC characters. It just feels like something is missing...

I think even THAT cheat isn’t enough to take out Emerald or Ruby on its own. Definitely be a big help, but careful materia/equipment planning and strategy are also required to beat them.

How is that wrong? Doing it the way everyone else does it IS lazier than trying a unique new style.

When I was younger and developed my Pokemon fan game, Pokemon Black and Pokemon White (way before the actual Black and White were released), I had Machoke automatically get an item called P-Belt when it evolved that increased crit chance. If you traded him with it equipped, it become Machamp. If you traded him without

The story of Link to the Past yes, but with the Ganondorf and backstory of OoT and WW. A powerful sorceror, the only male born to a tribe of thieves in 100 years, who covets the green land of Hyrule under the believe that his people suffer unjustly in the desert. Very Miyazaki.

Well... not really a fighting game. Tactical RPG with fighting game combat system? Sort of?

Should have been a female Robin. That’s closer to Sephiroth.
