What I mean is similar to the game, not exactly like the game. If it was JUST like the game, then yes, it would be boring. Small cast is not meant to imply one man and his horse. As long as it keeps the overall feelings of the game and incorporating that into a narrative, I would be happy.

I certainly hope so. Like I said, haven't really seen his other works. And Clash wasn't HORRIBLE, but very unfocused. For all I know, he could be a brilliant writer who got stuck with a project he had little creative control over.

I like the majority of del Toro's work, and the cast looks promising (Elba, Perlman, Day), but I can't say I'm thrilled with the writer. Clash of the Titans was (mostly) watchable, but not for the writing. It was a series of loosely connected adventure clips, with barely any characters or plot development. I

This could be made one of 2 ways:

You're right of course, but it's not a primary source. I think that this is one area that is obscure enough, and possibly disputed among different people, where I don't feel bad putting a disclaimer that it "just" appeared on wikipedia, rather than from an interview or article by the writer.

You're right, my mistake. I was thinking of IMAX, and at the time, I remember being impressed. My own memories deceived me.

Haha, well, I don't have all the facts either, and McFarlane is definitely involved in some way.

Hey Hollywood: STOP. MAKING. MOVIES. IN. 3. D.

Not to mention the prolific use of the letter X. If there was an X somewhere in the name and it's not Professor X, then there's a good it's a 90's character.

To be fair, they did change his costume pretty quickly. Then again, it's still Spawn with a smaller collar and metal arms

I could be wrong, but weren't most of those introduced in the 2000's? Marrow was from the 90's I believe, but she was minor character, and was only given a more major role (and a major appearance in Marvel vs Capcom 2 of all places) in the early 2000's.

I'm not sure about your timeline. From Wikipedia (I know, not the most reliable source of information...)

If I may introduce my own personal favorite 90's never-speak-of-him-again character, NIGHTWATCH! He's... okay, he's Marvel's Spawn. Right down to the cape allowing him to glide, a partially living costume, and, well, look at him.

Are you kidding me? One-eyed-Bart (aka Mr. Potato Head) as someone other than Nick Fury? How about Zurg as Loki and Lotso as Thanos. Slinky Dog as Agent Coulson. Hamm as Hawkeye. Ms. Potato Head as Maria Hill. And... screw it, Chris Hemsworth as Thor.

They screwed him up in the end of the movie... I maintain the ONLY good part of that movie was Reynold's Wade Wilson in the opening scene. He may not have looked like the Deadpool we were familiar with, but dammit, he was damn good at portraying a pre-cancerous Merc with a Mouth.

It's amazing how many of these twists seem like a plot summary of a Twilight Zone episode. Not that I'm complaining about that mind you...

I did not know that, that's fantastic, and it makes me love Gargoyles even more.

And a webcam in the other.

They're not exactly right... the Skrulls appeared in the Ultimates universe, using the Skrull name (it was in Ultimate FF). Even though they seem to exhibit similar shape changing powers (and I noticed that the Marvel wiki listed them as "a counter part to the skrulls"), they really are very different.

This is what I had learned and believed as well. That theory always rang true to me.
