I don’t “like” Bernie Sanders because he stubbornly stayed in the primary far longer than he should have and materially damaged Hillary Clinton’s chances and by extension damaged the country. I don’t “like” Bernie Sanders because many of his supporters are toxic dipshits. Remember when they booed John Lewis, an actual

Yeah, Sanders has a great record on healthcare and Wall Street regulation, and if those are your primary voting concerns, he is a great candidate for you. But he also has a mixed record on plenty of other things—gun control and immigration and criminal justice, to start—and there are other candidates who have been

What makes me extremely nervous about Bernie is his pandering to the “white working class,” which is really pandering to whiteness. People of color are also working class, but he puts a divide down. For women and people of color, we don’t have “identity politics” - a phrase he’s used several times, it’s just politics.

Look. I’ll vote for him if he wins the primary, just like I’ll grit my teeth and vote for Kamala (despite how much I hate her prosecutorial record) if she wins the primary because they are both not Trump. But I don’t not want to vote for him because I don’t like him. I don’t want to vote for him because I think he

Fundraising is a marathon, though, not a sprint. Also, is “he’s got the most money” really the main thing you can say in his favor, regardless of accuracy?

This article makes me feel like if I’m not supporting him then it must be because I just don’t “like” the guy. I’m not supporting him for the DEM2020 Primary for a whole bunch of reasons and “likability” is not one of them.

106 ERA+ is a rounding error for average. He’s had one year where he wasn’t league average. He can bet on himself all he likes, but all signs point to this guy being a short-term wonder rather than a long term star.

That is some excellent mental chess, my man.

Alright, maybe some good players should stay in small markets.

“I used to feel really bad for myself. Like, Why don’t I have any friends? Why don’t girls like me? Why does everyone s—- talk me? Am I really that bad of a person?”

Life’s just so unfair for white people, isn’t it?

Sure, and everyone else is now equipped to make an informed decision about giving the guy any money, now that his opinions are known.

Fair enough, I legit didn’t know anything about her.

“And now it’s time for the seventh inning stretch-the-truth...”

His wife is a minor league version of Laura Ingraham who goes on twitter and openly espouses her far right views with the same kind of hate filled and racist terms .

This is like if all the characters in Where’s Waldo were white.

I’m not surprised that the players continue to talk even when off air. Never has a TV sports broadcast been so smothered by commentary than any Players Only game. 6+ people in 2 (or more) locations talking at the same time, often about things other than the game being shown?!?! Mandatory mute button viewing.

His wife is fucking nuts.

Those players only broadcasts suuuuuuuuuuuuck

He was my favorite player when I was a kid. Sucks that his political antics have now tainted my memories of him fumbling the critical rebound that led to Magic Johnson’s fabled skyhook in Game 4 of the 1987 NBA Finals. Oh yeah, and you’ll never guess who was defending Magic on that play!
