I am the first to admit my 5 year old son can be annoying as fuck. He’s also 5 and probably doesn’t deserve to be insulted — and being called an annoying fuck is, in fact, an insult — by a grown man broadcasting to thousands of people.

Ummm ok? It’s still incredibly inappropriate for someone with no relationship to said child to call them a “pissant” on a regional radio station.

The most upsetting part of this story is that I had to listen to 33 seconds of WEEI just to get to the soundbite in question. Boston sports shows are the worst.

I know you’re blinded by your fandom, but every other NBA fan base thinks Draymond is by far and away (with good reason) the biggest asshole in the association.

You’re put of your Goddamn mind, and that list is completely absurd. I don’t even know who the hell youre talking about on some of those teams.

I don’t agree that Cousins is an asshole. He’s a gentle giant who often gets provoked and takes a LeBron James-level of uncalled fouls. He does throw some temper tantrums but it’s hard to blame him when you see what he has been through on the court in high school, college, and the pros.

Breaking numerous laws in the process and setting a dangerous precedent that will be used for extortion, blackmail and fraud. Ok then.

NO ONE CARES!

I also hope they get the same calls from their fathers, grandfathers, brothers and sons.

The breadth of this case blows the Sandusky case out of the water, both in terms of victims and the number of times those victims’ accusations were ignored. This deserves all the attention that the Sandusky got, but it isn’t getting it due to society’s ingrained sexism and homophobia. Apparently men assaulting boys

MSU shouldn’t be allowed to have an athletic department anymore. If you fail to maintain a safe environment for your students for more than two decades, you lose the right to participate in college sports.

I mean, the guy’s sister died and he played the next day for Boston, like, 8 months ago, and led them to a couple playoff series wins. Their reaction seems incredibly petty to me.

...you both sound like pleasant people...

I cannot stop watching this video.

Barry posted an excerpt earlier but Shaq’s extended remarks about calling the cops down to the locker room are the funniest thing I’ve heard in sports broadcasting. Maybe there’s something funnier, but I forgot it by now:
