Nifty, I was '10. Writing Sems with minors in anthro and theatre. So, nerd. :-) I also did rocky horror.
Did you go to Hopkins? I had Astin for a bunch of classes (including "story time with John Astin" our cute name for what I think was intro to theatre and film). He is the best.
Oh my goodness! That little boy with the rocking horse is too cute! Thanks for the link.
Thanks! We're an odd bunch, to be sure. :-)
I wish! No, my stepmom was just a voracious reader of all things Trek. We are a very scifi family and my stepmom loves to learn as much as possible about the actors.
That line killed me too - and then the ad said something along the lines of "it's time to compensate the dads." Uh, what? Compensate? Nope.
Haha, if I told my cute hubby that I was about to run away with George Takei, he'd be jealous for a split second and then - trekkie that he is - ask to come too. Pretty sure GT's husband would find us more hilarious than threatening!
So true! I remember being a kid and my stepmom telling me stories about him - how he was in the internment camps (horrible horrible) and how he learned Spanish and chatted with Ricardo Montalban on set. I want to be his friend.
Sounds good! As long as we can watch some Trek. And drink wine.
I want to marry this man. I mean, if I weren't married, if I were a dude, if he weren't married...
I love how Baltimore City is so affordable because no one has realized quite how awesome it is yet. I've been house haunting and there are a ton of properties with lots of space for under $300,000. Of course, I'm looking in the town between Bmore and DC (Columbia, the second largest metropolitan area in MD) and…
Can I be dream-jealous? Sounds amazing. He's geeky and scruffy the way my hubby is, and he's so open about mental health issues... Love him.
Waxing has been the only method that has truly worked for me. Eventually, it hurts less, and the hairs grow back more slowly/softer each time. That said, I just signed up for dollar shave club so I'll be getting four razors a month for $9. I've read that shaving with a new razor each time helps avoid the itchy bumps.…
Can I come over to your house? Seriously, got a bottle of CDP for my 21st and I saved it (empty) to have FOREVER.
Oh no you didn't!
Volume: Lush's Big Shampoo and Conditioner. Lots of sea salt - I use these before a big night out to give my hair drama. Seconding the Sea Spray as well - just a spritz in my hair when almost dry does wonders.
Keep it.
Okay, this is a story about my stepmom, whom I really love, but it. killed. me.
When I was waiting tables, I had to report my tips at the end of the night so that they could be subtracted from my minimum wage pay - basically, they only wanted their staff to make minimum, so you had to enter in tip income. So the restaurant would pay me two dollars-ish, the rest to be made up in tips.
