As someone who grew up in trailers and the more shithole part of West Central Florida, I think that trailer is pretty cool, too.

aw, c’mon now. that trailer actually looks pretty cool (except for the row of mailboxes, which are not the occupants fault). look at all those plants...at least they’re trying! and that cool classic yellow car in the “driveway” looks badass.
You seem awfully preoccupied with the bigot’s base. Thing is – some of us don’t care what they think, in great part because they don’t care what WE think, or how we live, or IF we live. So – not to put too fine a point on it – the hell with them.
Most of the anti-Nancy takes here seem to boil down to “I don’t personally like her, therefore she is not deserving of sympathy or respect from anybody.”
They say something, you write a scathing takedown of their inadequate responses.
If you can’t see the chasm-sized gap between the bar of “perfect legislator” and the bar of “legislator who doesn’t opportunistically grope women,” then you’re part of the problem.
I don’t want a “champion” who thinks it’s okay to grab or force himself on those he’s purportedly “championing”. He sounds like a two-faced opportunist for “championing” women’s rights while simultaneously sexually harassing/assaulting women. Yeah, what a guy. Women definitely need more “champions” like him.

Sad, disappointed, and pissed are all much better reactions IMHO than the intense fingers-in-both-liberal-ears-lalala-denial going on in comments here there and everywhere across the blessed internet about how he wasn’t so bad and shouldn’t have resigned.
The problem with the Democrats is that when push comes to shove, they actually have an overarching moral code, rather than the bizarre malleable thing the Republicans call a moral code.
I’m sad as one of his constituents, but that’s what you get for being a fucking creep Franken.
Damnit, Al. I’m so pissed about this. ALL OF THIS. He has been a good senator, his staff have been good, his office has been approachable and helpful. He had a policy where if you were a Minnesotan in DC, he held an open breakfast once a week with his staff his constituents could attend and talk about their issues. I…

There’s never the wrong time. Decorum is fiction. People just don’t want to feel uncomfortable when they’re not prepared for it. Well, get prepared.
Nope. Oliver brought up harassment allegations against Hoffman while they were discussing a movie centered around harassment allegations. It’s literally the perfect time to ask Hoffman about them.
Et tu, Hellboy?
That’s disappointing.
Dear Oregon Liberal,
