I’m a simple man. You give me a half hour with one and a half chainsaw bears and Tiya Sircar in a yoga outfit, I’m gonna like that half hour.

Yeah, my guess is something similar. I think they’ll get to the Good Place, realize it’s just as much of a mess as the Bad Place, and then have to figure out what the fork to do about it.

We find out that Chidi’s and Eleanor’s real names are “Adam” and “Eve”, and they end up together in a garden on a planet created especially for them by Michael.

I don’t trust Vicky. Michael leaving her in charge was a mistake. Unless he *knew* it was a mistake and planned accordingly. Or maybe it was a mistake HE PLANNED!

I have no idea what’s going to happen next and I kind of love it.

If nothing else it's a good vibe to put out there; it's ultimately a show about trying to do better and about helping others do better. I think that's worth appreciating.

Seriously though - this is the hardest I’ve laughed at the show all season.

It’s simply the teeeest! Better than alllll the tests!”

I lol’ed at that and wanted it to go on longer. Wouldn’t have minded some West Side Story either.

Two thoughts:

I mostly agree with your assessment but I’m a little bit easier on the episode because I thought it had some legitimately funny moments and I feel like season 4 has forgotten to be funny some of the time so that was nice to see. But the plots really did seem like wheel spinning. They just found a new arbitrary

It’s a necessary place filler though. They needed to tell the story of getting the new system up and running, but the show isn’t about the new system. I don’t think anybody really cared about the new system. We already know it, the entire plot of the show dealt with it. They had to show it working though and give a

Jason was gold as usual especially him and Chidi.

Of course Tahani volunteered to be test subject. She strives to be the perfect host so making sure everyone finishes training with best possible understanding of the rules is something she would try to help with. But I’d thought that after she made up with Kamilah in her last life it’d be easier to say something nice

This is about dealing with letting go. And facing the life after.

Jeremy Bearimy!!!

This was an all around good episode, Jason’s “I’ve read some books, geez” was great

Why not just use Chrome? I’ve spent a lot of time getting it the way I want it.

Between watching Timopthy Olyphant in this and then Walton Goggins in The Unicorn immediately afterward, I felt like I just watched the weirdest but most enjoyable episode of Justified ever.

There is just one acceptable response to that concept

As soon as the Judge put the clicker on the table I just knew Jason was going to play around with it. (some laws are constant in the universe)

Honestly, it’s a shame they didn’t make his character a fictional famous comic “heavily inspired by Lenny Bruce” as opposed to saying he actually was Lenny Bruce. He and Midge have way more chemistry than she has had with Joel or Benjamin and they’re entire fleeting meetings make for a more interesting and compelling
