You're obviously ignorant of China's history and don't have the slightest idea of their mindset. China has been repeatedly invaded by foreign powers during the last 2 centuries. First by Europe in the 1800's then by Japan in WWII.

Looking at her, I am thinking of this:

Japan has no real military? Then why is their military budget the 5th largest in the world?

America also has never been invaded and occupied by multiple foreign powers either. (I'm not counting the British).
