I think lots of schools here have breakfast also. Even 25 years ago, I remember some kids counting on getting most of their meals at school. Single parent and latchkey kids (are they still called latchkey?) with parents working different shift schedules especially. I pay for my kids' lunch cards and they still

So many kids in my state are on the school lunch program due to low income. For them, the best meal(s) they get are at school. Lunch bagging it isn't an option when food is free at school.

I find the right scroll comments format is quite inefficient. Previously, on one down scroll you could pull in about 6-9 comment discussions on a single screen. Now only two main comment discussions are visible before you have to click. That's a lot of clicking to peruse 57 comment discussions currently on this page.

O.o that makes it so much worse...

You honor us. *bows* If I could find that one of me in that lovely Holly Hobby dress, I'd feel properly able to keep you company.

Thank you for this. I'm now more informed thanks to Google and your little tidbit.

Just sat through Pretty in Pink with my teen this weekend.

Nah...I still think it's homophobic too. It's just that SOME rappers are making a conscious effort to not be that way. 'Cause you know, it's 2013 and all.

Yep

Essentially a human gofer. They mostly fetch and run correspondence between offices and other office menial tasks as assigned. You know, "leadership" skills. I like to think of it as a way to disillusion our more ambitious youth to NOT run for office or work for the government.

Hmm...interesting food for thought. Brogramming...nice. Haven't really seen it, but maybe that's because I'm female. Is it observable if I remain unseen in the wild?

Don't be surprised. Think of it like a car. You know how to open the door to a car, sit in it, start it up, drive it. Wasn't instant knowledge, but you learned all the necessary skills and knowledge to at least drive a car. Now, if you had to make your own car first then what? How many people would it take to make a

Hah! THIS!!! Omgosh...sucks when you get it to work but you really can't explain WHY it works to others so they can implement the "fix" too.

I'm with you there. Bloated and "don't touch me!" didn't work for me or my hubby either. I have a 32-34 day cycle. Changing my natural cycle to the pill was a disaster. In the end after both kids (mostly planned using the the time of the month, pull out gambling method), I went with the copper IUD. I didn't want

Hah!!!!

This...I grew up a military brat. I knew plenty of young recruits who cooked, sewed, polished, ironed uniforms, and had to keep their living/work areas spiffy. Also got to listen to my Dad give them the riot act if they weren't pulling their fair share of chores at the shop.

+1 - Noise does NOT wake my spouse up. Plus, he'd have to turn on all the lights just to find a flashlight. However, I would wake him if it requires climbing on the roof to run off a family of critters. Mostly, 'cause I know he'd get a kick out of doing it. We understand each other like that.

To quote you "The secret to a harmonious and well-run household is to stop interfering and just let everyone do their own job."
