If it really WAS given to them I hope they get smacked with income taxes on it

This might've been said already (lots of comments) but perhaps the driver of the Lambo isn't *supposed* to be out driving it? Like maybe he's got buddies at an agency or yard or something where the car was being held (for some reason or other), they slapped a random set of FL plates on it, and took it for a

It's a luxury car for the Consumer Reports shopper. Checks all the boxes for features and things easily quantified: leather, check. V8, check. Gadgets, check. But unquantifiable stuff like feel and materials and build quality... The stuff that makes the Germans worth their price, gets left out.

Crush it because it's a Chrysler product. Every Chrysler product deserves to be crushed. Even Vipers.

Or the "experimental" was meant for "turbo"... the '89 CSX had a Garrett VNT25 turbo, which was pretty high tech back in the day. Variable geometry turbo means zero lag. Fun to drive.

I dunno... I think it'd make for a great daily driver, parked in the garage next to my 944 Turbo track rat.

Sadly, I admit to paying a "market adjustment" on a brand-new Z06 back in late 2000. They wanted $10k over sticker, I got them down to $4k over and was happy, as I figured the car would hold it's value (remember when they first came out and said the Z06 was a "limited" edition? LOL.) 10 months later when I sold the

I'm gonna take a wild guess that she was NOT a Mitt Romney voter this past November, either...

First off it's clear he just wasn't paying attention. For sure brake lights on the Camaro are lit at 0:55 in the video, and appear to be lit at 0:54 too. It's also obvious that car was moving slowly for quite a while as he approached.

My bet - not paying attention, then when he realized it was too late, he

Car won't turn? Just keep adding steering input. Yeah, that's the ticket!

I think this is a *really* cool swap and I bet the lightweight and high-revving nature really exemplifies the original concept behind the car in the first place (light weight, high revving, fun to drive little car). I bet it's a blast to drive and it looks great too.

I have NO idea where these 80s F-cars are, as far as average or expected pricing goes... but the car seems clean and maintained. If you follow the same mentality with these that most knowledgeable Porsche guys do... higher mileage and driven is better than low mileage but garage-queen. You know it had to have been

Pretty cool but why no 7M-GTE?

How long before someone hacks it and projects an image of a train coming the other way a-la Bugs Bunny and the Road Runner?

I think I'm gonna need to see more photos of that lifted 'Scort, please.

Target fixation aka "White Line Syndrome". I guarantee you the motorcyclist was staring at the bicycles as he approached them and not the line he actually wanted to follow. You go where you look!

I think the only tragic loss here is the 356. The other cars can be replaced fairly easily.

There is a guy in the Chicago area that had a similar setup - 4th gen V6 Firebird.  He wanted to "learn all he could" and built up his V6 as much as he could, doing each upgrade slowly and methodically.
