They did, they created a sub blog called Workshop. Honestly I'd rather see this than another post on organizing your life with a folder system.

I was using a symbolic link to store my data on another drive, when I updated, things kinda got messed up. Apparently the new version migrated the data in a new folder which takes time. I couldn't fix it so I just reinstalled the old version. Just a heads up.

I've used oven cleaner on things like circular saws and chain saws - an overnight soak and it performs almost like new. I also find that I don't have to sharpen as often.

Crazy, I literally just saw this yesterday in my Lifespan class. There was also a little girl, who was a lot more creative with the torture, I might add.

I'm responding to him because I think it's a valid topic to discuss. Meanwhile, your first comment practically makes you sound like an exasperated parent looking down at the kiddies - that's where the "uppity" comment comes from. I'm sorry if this topic is so below you, but rallying for more diversity in Hollywood is

He's not making assumptions, he's even acknowledging the show casting lining up with the movie. He's saying it was a missed opportunity. This is a rich role w/ a lot of history seemingly tailor-made for an arab actor, but to cast a white actor just seems more of the same from Hollywood.
And yes, "Arrow" is diverse,

Not now sweetie, adults are talking..

Lol, what? What is this habit of yours of lumping everyone who whines about something to "them" and "they". I can't imagine how frustrating life must be for you if you're turning every circumstance into an "us" against "them" narrative.
If you're going to allude to vague articles, at least include a link.

Were you there for auditions? How do you know that wasn't the case? You're making concessions for a casting system that favors heavily on white actors. And what assumptions am I making? It seems like you're making them for me.

Honestly, both seem like they could be headlines on an entertainment blog.

Fuck that. You're sick of the diversity argument? Imagine non-white actors who are trying to make a career out of it. You know who isn't having trouble finding jobs in Hollywood - Australians.

Why "give it a rest", would it hurt the show to cast one more non-white actor? God knows the market is saturated with rich roles tailor-made for Arab actors.

In an alternate timeline Ken Watanabe played the Mandarin and Ben Kingsley played Ra's. Which left Liam Neeson free to star in Taken 3.

Passive-aggresive much?
"them" was rhetorical - meant to point out your use of broad generalizations and assumptions.

Who is "them"? The character has been an Arab villain for over a decade, if any group's going to complain they would have done it by now. Also, the answer to this would be to cast more Arab actors with different roles, not forego Arab actors all together. But of course they won't do that, it's almost like CW shows

Lol, I think that's a pretty broad stroke. I doubt anyone would complain for a character that has such a long established history. If droves of people were to complain we would have already heard about it for characters on Homeland, SVU, and a bunch of other shows.

My favorite one comes from porn, where a lot of guys can't tell that the girl squirting is actually just peeing. It's not that hard to tell the real ones from the fake, especially if you see her scene partner reacting beforehand.

Damn, not even a token black guy.

I remember in college taking a green shit after St. Patrick's Day; this would be the shit I take after an amazing Pride Parade.
