Those tires are terrible. I bought my E30 with stock TRX tires still on. Apparently they were designed for high performance cars in the 70's but they seriously have no grip at all. No wonder E30's were called 'the yuppie-killer'.
The only thing that could make it even better would be diplomatic plates.

The ones between the visors are super cool too. Makes you somehow feel like a pilot, when you're actually just changing the color of the interior light or opening the sunroof.
My '89 and '95 BMW's (E30 and E36) had exactly that setup. Pull for headlights and twist for dash light brightness.
I was actually thinking of a Sport Evolution (or Evo 3, as some call it has 238 hp and is also a bit lighter). An original Fiat 500, that is a slow car. Still might be fun to drive I think.
