It's been wine o'clock at my house for a good many hours.

That is so incredibly shitty. I am sorry for what you endured. There is a girl at my son's school (fourth grade) who has short hair, dresses in "boy" clothes (she and my son have some of the same clothes), and no one gives two shits. It's pretty amazing how far SOME schools and kids have come.
