This is very interesting, and welcome excitement for a Monday morning. However, I fully expect whatever it is, to be grossly overpriced.

Drive them all and have fun doing so!
I just got back from The Texas Mile speed event over the weekend. Where I ran 163.8 mph in my 2014 Jaguar XJR. Not bad for being bone stock, and moving 4200 lbs of large luxury sedan goodness.
I’m already thinking of what “affordable” mods I can make to run faster at the March…
Is there going to be any Jalopnik representation/coverage at the Texas Mile event this weekend in Victoria, TX?
I’m very glad you don’t live anywhere near me.
Always wondered if that stuff really worked. Will file this under the “more is better” part of my brain.
Glad to hear all went well!
Yet another reply that indicates little planning for an event that certainly would require it. This isn’t a random meetup of 8 gearheads in a bar on a Tuesday. Austin is crowded enough on a normal weekend, let alone one with the size event that F1 is. At least there’s no UT football game to deal with at same time this…
“I did warn them we were coming...” please tell us that’s not the extent of your prep for this? Cheeky commentary aside, the day before a major event like this, in an already overcrowded area without said event, is not funny. People who might be able to come engage with you are actively trying to make plans to do so.…
That’s one way to look at it. I’ve never bought from them, choosing instead to buy from the other dealer mentioned, with the more reputable service dept. But that was long ago, and I’m out of warranty now. Try to do most of my own repairs, so don’t have the need for either one of them.
There’s a GM dealer here in Katy, TX that does well in sales, and is known to be one of the better places to “cut a deal”, but their service dept is not highly rated. From personal experience, I can concur on their service dept rating.
Everyone that buys from them takes their ride a few miles east to the other nearby de…
Again, small joke. Just chuckle and move along.
There’s always someone who can’t just appreciate a small joke with a chuckle, and move along.
And someone will still drive off with the attached!

Yep, and no big mention that Tesla outsold Mercedes according to their 3rd quarter reports. I’ll admit to only skimming so would have missed if it was just a casual note they threw in.
The problem with these faux-reality shows is that if the first season is even half-way decent, as most of them are... then the network throws a bunch more production money at them and they get worse.
One of the best movies ever!
He will roshambeau you for it!
You would drive an all-electric car, from the factory, to home in...say...somewhere outside of anywhere, USA?
There may be no shortage of trailers outfitted for hauling cars, but there is an overall industry nightmare going on with driver shortages and new regulations on their drive time, e-logs, etc... This has certainly caused disruptions in hauling anything, with regardless of type of truck required. I don’t care what the…
