Agree with you 100%.   They look like an afterthought.   I don’t worry so much about them getting broken, as I don’t sit on, or slide across, the dash.  They just look like shit.

Maybe so, but he’s right, it does look better than what many makes currently do. His calling them “tacked on ipads” is exactly what most of them look like these days. Most screens in current cars are a big turn-off IMO.
