That red interior is just nasty.
That red interior is just nasty.
I vote with Orlove on this one.
Agree, there are no affordable places for the average person to go fling their car around on a nice Saturday afternoon. You can thank insurance rates, and an overly litigious societal trend for that.
I don’t care who runs what, I just hope that COTA gets steady use and patronage. It’s a nice facility that, as a Texas resident, I would like to see be successful.
Since I won’t be buying one, nor have the desire to, I could care less about arguing if they are overrated and/or over-priced.
However, they are BEAUTIFUL machines. Thank you for sharing them with us.
I missed part two of the Azealia Banks vs. Elon Musk drama, and Musk’s nearly tearful “being CEO is really hard” story in the New York Times, and his late-night acquiescence that taking the company private wasn’t in the cards right now.
I was lucky enough to find work in the old Katy area ten years ago and never looked back. Three mile commute each way is cake... although drivers on Pin Oak Rd/I-10 are starting to piss me off on the 5pm side of the drive.
Didn’t Alpha Centauri, from The Last Starfighter, drive something similar looking?
So many of you commenting, who didn’t get the gist of the article. Reading is one thing, reading comprehension is another.
I’m picking up what you’re laying down, Mack.
I finally made purchase on a replacement over this past weekend. 2014 Jaguar XJ-R LWB. 50k miles. Very happy with it so far!
UPDATE: I went with a 2014 Jaguar XJR-LWB, 50K miles. Performance numbers on paper are identical to my former V-wagon. Even the R model sport suspension is slightly smoother ride than the V, and the interior is better insulated from road/tire noise. So far after 2 days with it, I’m very happy with the purchase. …
Update: still haven’t purchased anything, but narrowing it down to either a 2014 Jaguar XJR, or a 2012 E63 AMG Wagon.
Read ALL the words. It did pay more.
That’s okay. Far doesn’t bother us Texans. Driving anywhere within the state is far. People don’t realize that if you leave Houston for Los Angeles, and you finally reach El Paso, you’re halfway there....but still in Texas.
She is still light enough for us to lift. But the ramp van days will be upon us soon. That’s most likely what will replace my wife’s Suburban when the time comes.
Haha, no.
That’s a beautiful pic
I could go for this idea.
I like a Panamera as well, but the out of warranty bothers me since I would likely put it into daily duty.
I would daily that, but a big land yacht testing in Houston traffic... Not so much.
