The only way they’re similar at all to me is the exploration of puberty and burgeoning sexuality... similar subject matter in that sense but totally divergent otherwise. I’m surprised Darling has been as popular as it seems to be— it’s pretty bland and derivative with some OK art.

This list is pretty Subpar. Persona really? Golden Kamuy is on the top of my list as it explores an interesting time in Japanese history and the Ainu people.

I’ve been waiting for the dub myself. They got everyone back for it so I’m exited.

Hinamatsuri is both hilarious and heartwarming. It definitely deserves a mention.

It’s closer to Second Raid than Fumoffu, but I agree with you: Fumoffu was the best of all time haha.

Its pretty awesome actually. The designs have been updated but still very faithful to the story. Its darker though and will get darker still. So its more like The Second Raid then anything.

Man. Why is no one losing their mind over the fact there’s a new Full Metal Panic series?!? Oh, well. At least I’ll enjoy more Sousuke/Chidori goodness.

I’m glad Golden Kamuy is mentioned. It’s a fantastic adventure-cooking show.

P5: The Animation really? It looks worse then the game it is based on, it has all the issues of being based on a JRPG, the emotional gut punch in the middle of the first arc is so poorly done its a travesty, and there is also the fact the game is the purest form of the story. There is much better this season all…

I spent 120 hours with Persona 5 last summer. I just can’t imagine watching it again, but I guess I’m in the minority on that.
I still need to fire up Full Metal Panic. Anyone with thoughts on how it compares to previous series (Fumoffu being the best, of course, but admittedly.. an outlier).

I’m incredibly grateful that companies like Naughty Dog, Atlus, Square Enix, 2K Games and Bethesda still make games that a grumpy asshole like myself can enjoy.

With each passing day the gaming world gives less and less craps about the older gamers. Which is weird, because I’m reading statistics that something like 40% of gamers are over 36. You’d think they’d want to get our dollars being that we have more money than the youths. {shrug} I guess this is what happens when you…

I don’t think you’re in a minority when it comes to Black OPs’ campaigns. They’ve generally be the highlight of the game, especially with 1 and 2 being praised. This is a bummer.

Saw this movie 17 years ago. Never had the courage to watch it again.
