it does flex, and yes it feels cheap. You make valid points—for a computer keyboard. This is aimed at the HTPC market. The average use case for HTPC is picking up the keyboard for all of 2 minutes, the not using it for another 2 hours, if not more. Even better is the few clicks it takes to get to steam big picture…

you could just, I don't know, not be as much of an idiot as to spend $100 on a keyboard. Logitech makes a (non backlit, OMG) keyboard that has the same range, and a trackpad for $26 at Walmart. If your too good for Walmart, RadioShack will gladly take 40 of your dollars for the same keyboard.
