Actually a few news items have indicated that this is something Microsoft actually pushed for. Not saying that it's not something the publishers don't want, and I imagine one of the reasons Microsoft did it was to court publishers. But it's hard to tell who was actually the driving force behind the move. Remember that

No, the only major difference is that Microsoft has offered up the publishers a DRM solution on a platter that enables much tighter restrictions on used content than is even possible on the PS4. To say it's just the 24-hour online check is sugar-coating it.

It would be cool, but I'm not sure how much business sense it makes. I have a 200 game plus library on Steam. It doesn't take a genius to figure out I'm not playing almost 95% of it. If I could lend out that excess it wouldn't really matter if I couldn't play it at the same time.

It's at times like this I regret PS+. I really hope my PS3 is okay, I want to continue the Last of Us. I hope there's a fix at least if it's not. One that doesn't involve losi- oh yeah. Cloud save storage. I guess that might mitigate things. But I don't think I have it enabled for some games I haven't played recently.

I don't have any examples to hand, but these are bad because they're just straight cut and pastes. Not only has no effort been put into blending them with the destination image but there's been no work put into properly isolating the source image. That's why all the cat heads look like magazine cut outs.

Uh, no I didn't. I asked if original thought is banned in China. I'm not sure how you managed to read that as "world of tanks".

You know what bothers me most? They're not even decent shops...

  • Already been done.

Yeah, whenever I consider anything like this I rarely consider actually going into a store and buying it. I normally just get it delivered. And since I've got Amazon Prime that can often happen by tomorrow, with no effort on my part. Plus the great thing with getting things delivered is occasionally getting them

How will it be any different? Because it is different:

I know, hence why I pointed out in the books he's married to Jeyne and not the made for TV character.

I think I want to try before I buy and I'm definitely going to wait for the final product. But damn... I'm cautiously excited about this.

I loved watching the fallout over the red wedding. I didn't actually watch it though. I read the books!

It depends how they implement the game reselling but I think it's a bit much to say it can't be fixed later. It's certainly not hard wired. Most of the issues people have with the console (other than the price) are software related.

I like interesting looking consoles though, the Gamecube was awesome. And one of the dinkiest consoles that ever was too. The PS4 doesn't look bad, I think it'll look better in person. Some viewing angles are less flattering than others. And frankly for all the jokes that it looks like the XBO I think the comparison

Still no Valkyria Chronicles, and bumping Uncharted 2 for TLOU when there's so many more bumpable games on the list. For shame.

To claim it couldn't fail is really quite bizarre. Have people forgotten about the PS3 already? Sony had one of the most successful consoles of ALL FREAKING TIME with the PS2, and they still screwed up the PS3 launch. They acted like they were entitled to success, and they paid for it. It's hilarious to see how the

Just because it comes with features you don't want or need doesn't make it a better product either. Fact is even if you factor in the eye it still works out cheaper. Only you also get the option not to pay for it if you don't want it. Also how can you say it will have "the cloud" from launch when they've announced no

It needs gamers to succeed. Microsoft may be banking on the fact that a lot of people used their 360s for media but they've ignored the fact that people bought it to play games on. Trying to get a non gamer to buy a games console is a hard sell. It doesn't matter if Microsoft is trying to market it as a media centre,

It's going to suffer in Europe and Asia though, and if it loses ground in North America it's not going to do that we'll.
