I'm really curious how much of this negative press is really going to reflect in actual console sales. I'm fairly certain that the PS4 will take an early lead, but how much of a lead is hard to say. The One is really going to suffer outside the US though, in Europe especially.

You get weird numbers when you're converting between currencies. It's probably a nice round number in the source currency.

If they're spending money they shouldn't realistically have. A ten year old dropping fifty bucks is one thing, a thousand is quite another.

Yeah, if I was running a business I'd probably want to check with the kids parents before I'd let them throw that kind of money around.

Quality is often not very good for most scanlations. The scans themselves, the editing, and the translations are often prone to issues. But the main delay is the fact that most foreign manga publishers only offer it in print. Obviously a purely digital release is much quicker and can be done within days of the

At the point I'm hauling around a bulky controller I may as well be carrying my 3DS. The only real appeal of mobile games is that I'll always have my phone on me, even if I have nothing else.

Yeah I think as long as you wear a big hat and cowboy boots while periodically exclaiming "Yee haw!" you don't need a licence for that there.

You've got that backwards. PSO has some of the most simplistic combat ever and is more based on having a steady rhythm rather than any skill. And I actually like PSO.

I think you're confusing "flashy" with "fluid". Fluidity has nothing to with speed, it's about smoothness. Just because something is a bit slower paced doesn't mean it can't be smooth.

Did not know that, thought that TVii was for their unreleased video service. Still not very useful though considering you have to have the Wii U switched on in order to use it.

And uh... exactly how is any of that relevant to my comment?

I doubt it. The Wii U's remote features are limited to really basic TV remote functions. Good for switching the TV on and off, changing the channel, volume, or input source. But not much else.

I have charged it once since I bought it. The battery light isn't even blinking yet. And that's after 60 odd hours of Monster Hunter. Really fantastic. I was playing TLOU on my PS3 the other day, and while the DS3s do last a fair while it still ran out of juice. Fortunately I have two controllers so whenever that

Both sports are boring as hell to watch. But at least football (soccer) is sensibly named.

4K?

These are the kinds of questions people want answered if they're going to buy your console. You want people to buy your console, as soon as possible. Exactly how is it too early to answer them?

I'm reminded a lot of the panel on the left for some reason...

Possible? Yes. Easy? No.

They first have to admit they've made some mistakes though. Something MS is woefully slow to do. At any rate if they fall behind at launch they're going to have an uphill battle on their hands. I wouldn't write them off yet, but it's going to be a struggle for them.

Price is far from the only factor though. The only reason the PS3 recovered though is because Sony worked their asses off fixing a lot of their mistakes, bringing the price right down to competitive levels. Microsoft need to do the same if they're going to bounce back from this. And as for exclusive content? Microsoft
