Thank you for the clarification. If I'm to follow the story correctly and based on the gif itself, 80s cartoons were like Dynasty in that their female characters consistently got into cat fights? Cuz if so, I;m gonna waste an entire work shift on youtube looking it up.

This guy and Romeo Rose should go into business together... they can turn women off one creepy attempt at a time.

Right? If anyone can tell me what cartoon it's from and in what context she was slappin the shit out of her, I would greatly appreciate it.

*sigh* Dear Steve Vaillancourt:

Wow... The Iggy outrage is just a rehash of the Macklemore/Same Love outrage of 2013-2014. I don't hate Iggy although I understand why people are sort of up in arms about her gross misuse of a dirty south accent (especially in Black Widow... I want that song to die in a fire). I say let her win her awards so she can

Agreed. I think they may have the basic outline of the season there and I don't know how far into writing/filming the season they are, but they'll probably just have a couple of filler episodes in between to honor the contract. I don't think tacking on another 2 episodes is really gonna throw them off too much (I

Paula Patton moved into her new dude's place. If this guy compares to her ex Robin Thicke at all, he's probably an anthropomorphized pair of silk boxer shorts

I figured that this was the case. It's rare for a show to go past 22 eps in a season (occasionally 24 if it's Grey's Anatomy), it was just the paragraph was oddly written. It made it sound like they had ordered that many episodes on top of what was already commissioned. I was like "35 episodes of Black-ish?!

So I could be a bit dense because I've been at work since 5 AM, but did they order 22 episodes ON TOP of the already ordered 13 for Black-ish and 15 eps on top of the already ordered 13 for HTGAWM? Or am I reading it wrong? Because if so it's going to be a long ass year for TV...

Welp... Freddie always did seem like a dick... lol

I had no idea Joss and SMG had tension. I've had my suspicions about Charisma, but they were both pretty adamant anything having to do with her departure was a mutual (and respectful) decision. Ooo... scandal that I must research and find more.

I don't think there's ever been a point in Terrence Howard's career where I didn't find him smarmy. I truly don't believe he's doing much acting with the character he plays in The Best Man movies... -_-

Yeah, I think you about covered it all.

Yeah... that was about as subtle as a semi driving through a house. But I appreciate Shonda's blunt honesty about it. She runs an empire with a "take no shit, even if they (think they) are movie stars" attitude. It's a testament to her talent as a showrunner.

It wasn't so much that I didn't get what she was saying (especially as a POC myself), it was HOW she said it. It could've been editing, it could've been her lack of ability to clearly describe it, but either way the statement came off a bit odd.

She may hire a lot of assholes but she doesn't ever put up with it when it gets out of hand. They're usually gone by the end of the season and in Heigl's case, in the middle of the season never to be asked back again.

Oh Christ, I remember that. I swear one of the days I would scan at different periods throughout the day and it would stop on the same part of the song every time. It was kinda eerie.

I read all of those in that grating southern drawl of hers.

So... as a dude, I think the memo stating that dudes are to become increasingly psychotic during the latter part of the year got lost in the mail. Either that or I got kicked out.
