Dispatches has its conclusion in its second to last episode, so I don’t really mind them devoting the last episode to something a little weirder.

All you need to know is that Ben Reilly was superior in every way, and had the best costumes.

eSports were around before twitch, but was mostly contained to small events outside of Korea. The release of Starcraft 2 coincided with the rise of Twitch, and since then eSports, streaming and twitch have just been linked.

It seems odd that they don’t write why they dropped the game. After four years of development I would think that there would be enough game for them to release something, rather than just dumping everything they worked on.

I think you are vastly underestimating how conservative people in the US are, that includes sponsors and networks, it is nothing specific to China.

Most people probably aren’t living under a curfew, and there is nothing wrong with them going outside and doing whatever, as long as they avoid groups and keep their distance etc.

Their jobs are almost 100% reliant on donations and subscriptions, there is no money to be made on ads unless you are a gigantic streamer.

The vast majority of full time streamers probably make the same as minimum wage, if not less.

Renting castles, making costumes and hiring actors are just a few of the many real expenses that is required to make this thing feel real, so naturally they have to make that money back. It’s called a school because it’s based on the Harry Potter school called Hogwarts, they just can’t use those names.

Echo has been part of the game pretty much from the start, though only in art. The Ashe cinematic was the first time we really saw her, but she also had a part in the OW2 cinematic.

If anything this seems like the perfect opportunity to play Pokémon Go like it was intended. Many activities where people gather are closing, so a game that gives you exercise while not requiring you to interact with any people seems perfect.

But also super expensive, surprisingly so for an emote.

You need to keep in mind that most of us here are geeks, we are familiar with the concepts from SOMA, but there is probably a large casual audience who like horror games, but who are completely new to these science fiction themes of mind transfer. Simon needs to be really dense so that nobody is confused about what

At least Gengar came in second in the only region that matters. #Gen1IsTheBestGen

I don’t really see an advantage of GoG over Steam. I don’t care whether my game has DRM, I think Steams return police is already generous enough, perhaps too generous, and from what I understand GoG no longer re-releases old games, so to me they are just another storefront.

You obviously don’t know a single thing about streaming or streamers. The vast majority of full time streamers have hundreds of viewers, nobody is paying them to stay in any hotels.

It seems to be that the best thing would be to let the characters wear whatever clothes they like to the wedding. Not everyone likes formal clothing, and there is no law stating that you must wear some ugly suit at a wedding.

The vast majority of streamers are probably making close to minimum wage, they don’t have any real amounts of money for anyone to handle, and most of them certainly couldn’t afford to hire someone to handle what little savings they have.

I dare to say that the vast majority of full time twitch streamers would be unable to survive on sub money alone. Donations and bits aren’t a large bag of extra cash, but what hopefully ads up so that they can make somewhere close to minimum wage and can justify keeping it as their job.

I would say that it is easily the best American comedy ever made.
