"And finally... there's the random spaceship that lands outside Charleston, right after our heroes have gotten back. Why doesn't anybody shoot at it? "

I like the idea, but the perks are really poor, i mean 3333$ for a portrait? I know the Oatmeal guy isn't getting any of the money but i think they could have gotten more donations if they didn't go so cheap on giving things to the people who help

Can't let the fact that the show hasn't even started yet get in the way of being cool and snarky on the internet

Didn't Del Toro recently say that they were lining up a top writer for the Hulk tv series, could this be Whedon?

I am really happy this kickstarter went well, though i wonder if they could have done better with a video that wasn't so.. bad

The animation and look of the film is very nice, but the story is kinda cheesy, it would probably have been better without the text at the start.

To be fair, the black guy who was standing guard over her decided to leave after he heard Matt tell her all their secrets, perhaps he should have told someone that the brat was causing trouble again?

He has said a few times that he is not ready to get back to tv yet so i don't think this deal really matters, and he will be much more popular when he does deside to go back.

I cannot express how happy i am that cockroaches don't exist over here in Denmark

I am surprised there was no mention of the spam filter. One of the main reasons for using Gmail is that Hotmails spam filter simply does not work, i can tell it over and over again that messages from a certain sender with a certain headline is spam and it still let's them into my inbox, it is very rare that i get any

I was a bit disappointed when i saw that it had wheels, but still incredibly cool

Reminds me a lot of The Fountain, which is good.

That is a good question and almost impossible to answer as the term superhero can be very broad. I wouldn't call Person of Interest a superhero show, though it does remind people of Punisher.

I am interested purely because Neill Blomkamp is directing, but i haven't seen anything about the movie so far that would interest me in the least if it was a directed by someone i didn't like, it just sounds a little bland.

As much as i liked Pushing Daisies i almost think that it ended where it should, the show was always on the verge of being a bit 'too much'.

It might be better than it looks, but it just looks bad. I may be an old grumpy guy but it just seems like animation is getting less and less detailed and just relies on looking weird, the turtles just look like the animators stopped working halfway through the job.

I too hate it when io9 goes to events and tells us about upcoming movies that are relevant to their audience, what do they think this is, a science fiction blog????

I think people can sympathize that they don't have the budget to make everything look great, but then it would have been better they limit themselves instead of having parts of the movie look like a 20 year old video game.

So when you are finished with a bottle you just throw it away? Here in Denmark every soda bottle (also beer and some other drinks) is returnable, you pay a little extra for the bottle and then get it back when you deliver it to a shop. I always just assumed that the returnable bottle system was everywhere.

"Even the Incredible Hulk, who had a pretty successful television series back in the 1970s, had lukewarm box office for his two solo films — although the fact that neither movie was especially watchable probably didn't help."
