It is too bad that they bring the franchise back after all these years and then ruin it by having Seth Rogen star in it.
"Lost was for that great Lost audience, and you would say 'the Lost audience.' Terra Nova, more than anything I've ever done in my life, is for everybody."
Kinda looks like they took War of the worlds and replaced the tripods with space ships, i thought the preview looked pretty boring, just a bunch of old science fiction cliches strung together. I will certainly give it a shot, but i am not expecting much based on this.
For a science fiction/science blog i constantly find this attitude odd. I mean, getting uploaded into a computer or have the whole human race turn into beings of energy is everyones biggest fantasy. And every new thing that science brings is hailed as good, but as soon as it comes to growing meat in a lab or making a…
I think this is the first time i have ever heard about Haruki Murakami, thats why.
Looks interesting, but after his last few movies i have pretty much lost all confidence in Terry Gilliam as a filmmaker
@kingkellogg: What is the point of having a cat if you dont let it be a cat? Buy a stuffed animal instead. The claws are a natural part of a cat if you are worried about them scratching your furniture, THEN DONT GET A CAT!
@Robbzilla: Well Google translate is not that good. Sure it better than what we could have imagined a few years ago, and it works well for translating the meaning of a text. But it is also obviously machine translated, with the word and grammatical errors that come with that. I dont know spanish, but the english…
@8bitsareenough: Agreed. I use Hotspot Shield a lot.
This is the first time i have heard of sign spinning... What does spinning the sign do that is better than a normal sign? Why even pay people to hold it instead of putting it up normally?
@polle404: If you cant handle the weather when its wet and cold then you arent a proper dane!
@HidingInCanada: TV actors who have the same role for many years generally try to run as far away from that role as they can when its over, because its so easy to get typecast. Gellar has also stayed away from most Buffy related stuff.
@lazlopink: True, but you also dont see a whole lot of superhero movies come out each year. Superheroes have been around in comics for a long time, and we are just now finally able to do them justice on the big screen so they arent going to go away. But they also dont have anything to do with the lack of good science…
@mooretom3: There is nothing stopping you from eating human meat now, assuming you dont kill someone to get it. I dont think people will ever stop being disgusted by the thought of eating human meat, but thats about it.
@ceti: Yeah, think of how stupid it would be if people just kept making comedies or action movies, who would want to still see movies with that same old crap?
"From the director of Pineapple Express" I am going to take a wild guess and say it wont be the next Army of Darkness, because Army of Darkness was actually funny. Weed and dick jokes are not funny
@starbuck13: Why?
@mordicai: That is because it doesnt deal with the origin of life per say. The thing is that we dont know how life is created, but as far as we can tell if involves a lot of processes that makes it very rare. If all these things has to happen every time for life to appear on a planet does that mean that life is rare,…
My favorite part is Dean continuing his five years long streak of being an asshole to Sam, and he even blames him for not having a soul. Classic Dean right there
