The Dissolve that OP mentioned. It was Pitchfork’s film site and when it launched they brought in a bunch of the best film writers on the internet. It didn’t even last as long as Grantland

Yeah this is rough. Those were two sites with legitimately good content that avoided the trap (or, more likely it appears, sound business model) of clickbaits and slide shows. So much talent in those two sites with such big brands behind them and neither last more than a few years.
Charles James II
I think someone mentioned last night but it seems like it would make sense to treat the ball getting lost in the ivy the same as fan interference where the umps get discretion to place the runners.
He played for Pitt though, close enough? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Pretty sure that sentence about never seeing it before or again was referring to the entire play, not JUST the catch. The catch brought the entire play over the top into uncharted territory.
Crocs and MLB’s steroid scandal? This is an amazing look at 2007
A Mets-Cubs NLCS would be a lot of fun. With the young Met’s pitchers that all seem to hit 100 MPH we’d either see some incredible pitching duels or some 500 foot HRs. Plus both fanbases would be insanely pumped up the entire series.
Except Shea Serrano, he’s been great on the pop culture side.
Hi Gregg
Here, last paragraph should answer your questions...
Always.
They should at least switch to American Bulldogs which are cooler anyway (but arguably less cute) :
Ohhh. Haha now I understand. The issue was why do people stream instead of torrent, not why do people stream instead of purchase. My mistake. I stream because I’m an adult and it’s the responsible thing to do.
Pretty much all these services, with the exception of Pandora, allow you to customize your own music. You just get to choose from millions of songs vs. just the files you own.
I certainly do. I have an unlimited data plan. I like listening to albums in their entirety. I have musical tastes that spans a lot of artists and genres. I like discovering new stuff.
So the leaders are named Foster, Kai, and Tucker?
Does that scenario happen to you often?
Yeah I guess I didn’t really mean Grantland specifically but the idea of Grantland.
Yeah all those reasons are pretty much why I put an independent Grantland in what I would hope would happen, not what I think will happen. But you’re right.
