I think we pretty much agree. Obviously Drew isn't anyone's god, we're arguing about that question though (which I enjoy as well and causes me no stress) which is why I'm saying that his question seemed to be whether the that combination of ingrediants still counts a sandwich or if it's something else entirely.

I didn't use Wikipedia to "settle and argument" I used it as evidence for my argument and to show a bit of where some consensus was among people not on this message boards.

The thought that everything on Wikipedia is inaccurate is a fallacy. There are so many people editing it all the time that the accurate info almost always outweighs the false because usually the only people who care to edit Wikipedia articles are experts in that subject. What is often inaccurate are articles about

You're so wrong. When you take the patty off the bread you have ground beef.

No I actually agree with you on your drug stance. I think all drugs should be legal as well but I don't feel they should be treated the same way but I still feel that caffeine users and meth users should be treated differently (just with healthcare and treatment instead of jail time). I think our disagreement boils

The problem with your stance is that it encourages players to sacrifice their health to be better for a few years. It also means that players who decide to take steroids are literally taking money (in the form of roster spots) from those that don't. You can call that dumb moral panic but I want to watch the best

I think the big difference between pain killers and the illegal PEDs is that if you take the pain killers when you don't have any ailments it enhances nothing. If someone is in peak performing shape and takes Toradol, they aren't going to perform any better than if they hadn't taken any. It's like calling a ankle

I think it's time for an #LOLPHILLY tag

Nate, you are pretty much the exact opposite of Skip Bayless in every way possible. While that's great for all of us sane people, statistically how does that bode for your upcoming tenure at ESPN? Are you worried that you'll be forced to "embrace debate" and hyperbole instead of sticking with what has made you so

The location of NFL teams by state is pretty proportional to the location of the general population. This increased population in NY and California over Wyoming or Montana should balance it out.

Sure does. And that parking lot you see in the picture is now a really nice grassy extention to Schenley Park.

OK, I re-read that article and your right in that it is not that well written. It should definitely have more citations and been more detailed. However, my big disagreement was your complaint that it seemed like marketing bullshit.

So you read the first paragraph...

Yup. The assessment in the article is taking two different scenarios and merging them together to try to make a point and it doesn't really work that way. The problem is that there is no clean cut scenario because we have no real way of knowing what HS players would have gone straight to the NBA over the last 8 or

I kind of blame Andy for blindly believing his four year old about the details of Lily's mom's murder instead of checking the news or realizing that one of the teachers or parents surely would have contacted him about such a dramatic event. Maybe his kid's just messing with him because he knows his dad is gullible

Seriously. Why is this on here? It's not newsworthy and it's not funny. Deadspin often calls people out for being assholes and I think this time they're the ones that need to be called out.

The percentage of fans that left vs. percentage of fans that stayed is obviously going to be low but that's not really the issue. The issue is that the percentage that left was way higher than it should have been in that close a game in the NBA Finals when your team has one of the best players of all time. The

I don't know, sometimes I'll randomly film like two minutes of the third quarter of a basketball game I'm attending. Sometimes you want some game action to show on facebook or share with friends but you'd prefer to watch the good stuff not through a camera lens (or phone screen). My guess is that's what happened
