I was really surprised when Bernadetta started talking about the abuse she received during her childhood (and the incident with her father tying her to a chair for hours is only one example, there are others). What fascinated me was that you usually don’t see an example of abuse in a video game that’s this realistic.

It doesn’t necessarily have to be that much more efficient if you can also save weight a the same time. It wouldn’t be better for all applications, but it would be for cars.

With respect, ten percent is a gigantic sum when you’re talking about something like fuel efficiency.

This costs you more in energy than the resulting hydrogen would produce.

Damn you Seven & I Holdings Co!

It’s strange, but a lot of people have a problem with having their genitals exposed to a bunch of strangers without their consent. Depending on who was involved, I could see this really messing somebody up. You talk about roughhousing and play, but a lot of people probably endured this sort of thing as part of a

Green Acres! Anyone? Anyone?

Basically every fighting game ever made has this dynamic. No game rewards difficulty of execution with effectiveness in a perfectly linear scale. Some characters are strong despite being relatively easy to use. Others are hard to use while not being as strong as you might think. In both cases the opposite is true as

I feel like this has always been a thing, in any game with builds throughout time, but suddenly somebody gave it a name, and people think it’s something that just recently became a thing, and have opinions on it.

Every example you’ve  listed has a geographic component that internet delivered services lack. It's not the same thing. Also, I have a choice of five grocery stores within two miles of my house.

In this market, Epic is waging the only fight with any chance of success. Deploring their tactics might as well be saying “we’re fine with only one major distribution platform, ever.”

Er, I was also making a joke about the advancement of panty science seeming like a good thing to me :)

I’m... not sure why that’s bad, even if it’s true... I feel like you’re making a point somewhere I’m not getting...

Isn’t this kind of a funny idea though? By looking down on craft beer that’s been bought by larger companies, and deciding to spend on smaller breweries instead, aren’t you just accelerating their path to corporate acquisition? ;)

I’m not sure how A-B treats their acquisitions, but we had a similar dust-up here in Texas not long ago when Miller-Coors bought Revolver Brewing, makers of Blood and Honey. I know more than one person who decided that because of that, they’d never drink it again. But, I know one of the guys who works at Revolver in

From an economics perspective, the analogy doesn’t hold up. That’s why it’s not “grossly simple”. If you want to compete in the grocery business, the best way is to set up shop somewhere your strongest competition doesn’t have a foothold geographically. If you were to set up shop next to a Walmart for example, you’re

Epic is trying to gain a foothold in the market the only way they possibly can. This is a classic case of why you can’t simply come out with a competing service and hope to actually compete with a long-standing industry giant. I like Steam a lot, but I prefer it when companies have to fight over my business rather

To quote RedLetterMedia, “Why is she an admiral, and not... in prison?”

Maybe someday. I think he has a bright future in politics.

Bernadetta is basically my project character. My primary goal in the game is to support and guide Edelgard and the others, but my secondary goal is to get Bernadetta as many friends as possible. Especially once you learn more about her story, it’s like... she never really had a fair shake at life.
