@snap_understeer_ftw: Exactly.
@Flathead Smith and the Screaming Straight Pipes: Why would "European American" be correct when "African American" not be?
@snap_understeer_ftw: People still think that saying "Black" is a no no. "African-American" is the more politically correct way to say it, even if it isn't accurate in most cases and still implies segregation from "normal" Americans.
@Mikeado: My first thought was that they were using exhaust flames to heat the tires to get them to stick more, then I remembered that the engine was at the back, and that heating the tires is probably the stupidest thing you could do...
@jodark: Harmon tried to settle for $1M with the sherrif's department but when that fell through he decided to sue the department, 4 deputies, and the supervisor who signed off on the charges.
@Baby Benz is a good DD: Turns out it wasn't a DUI. They charged him with resisting arrest and failing to comply. The Cincinnati news article is very descriptive about the whole thing:
@skittlzncombos: Just looked it up, the charges were the following:
So wait, the deputies see this guy, think he's drunk, beat him senseless, then finds out that he's having a diabetic attack, and THEN decide to still file DUI charges against him?
@Mikeado: That looks like it's coming through the rim. I'm guessing it's the brakes, or the greasy fingerprints on the brake disk from the mechanic who installed them.
My God! Has it really happened? Has Porsche finally built the first good looking car since the 550 Spyder?
@jodark: Hello there, nice to meet you :)
If you want to make the van cooler, reduce it's overall height by about 20%-30% and make it a wagon again.
This really looks like an Audi A8 with Camaro headlights and an enlarged Veyron grille. Whoever designed this definitely forgot his "new ideas" cap at home that day
@erikgrad: I don't think the point of saying it's "Driver error" is excusing the fact that there may have been a mechanical/electrical component leading to the crash. The car put the occupants in the situation. The driver had multiple options to avoid the catastrophic accident however he chose to make a phone call…
@They call me MISTER Scroggs!: Yeah, the Mustang II was a fail. Although it did have one of the best IFS setups going and the front clip has become a staple in the hot-rodding community
