I gave the young daughter of a frenemy a battery-operated toy dog that, when pushed in the tummy area, played “Who Let the Dogs Out” repeatedly and incessantly.  Needless to say this was unsubtle payback for an untold number of slights.

The giver was my father, not me, but this is still a great story.

I get that kids are learning, but there are some times and places where it’s not appropriate to take kids to learn.

Babies at least are on the behavioral level of animals. They can’t eat, drink, or take a shit without someone monitoring them. They’re basically dogs that grow into humans, and even dogs get paper-trained faster than a baby. By any criteria other than genetics, if you ask me, they sure don’t act human at all.

There is no shortage of people on the planet. People who have children are not bestowing a magnificent gift upon the rest of the population.

No. Children need to be parented and can’t make decisions for themselves, work, drive, have sex, or even decide what to eat every day. There is nothing wrong with restricting certain spaces to adults only and there is nothing wrong in expecting parents to parent their children when they’re out in public. Get a grip.
