The wait, in the end, might be worth it, with the next-gen trucks looking pretty nifty

Emotional Support Chevy C10 for eye bleach purposes.

Duh.

I love the X1/9, kudos!

Excellent choice of an X1/9. One of my all-time favorite cars.

If soggy (like oil soggy), it would imply not only undercooking, but the oil wasn’t up to temp before they dumped in the fries. The only sogginess I accept with any fries is gravy-soggy. An argument can be made for egg-yolk soggy, but I’d put it out there that I don’t want them served that way--I make them that way.

Very nice, great color

Sweet car, congrats!

I once knew someone in the 80’s who owned an X1/9. It was a fun driving car and fairly reliable. The only issue with it was the synchros in the transmission were weak and went bad to the point where you’d have to hold the shifter handle in place. It eventually needed a transmission rebuild.

If you own the vehicles behind it, your tastes run the extremes of whimsy and practicality.

If it was here in FL I would already be making plans to go look at it tomorrow, and I need a 3rd convertible like I need a couple of ex-wives. MN is just a tad too far, too much work stuff going on. If it was a quiet stretch though...

If this doesn’t end up with a 90% or higher NP win I will be concerned for this community.

Nice Price. Nice car. Well-maintained. Good price. The oil and engine coolant in the trunk tell me that there actually ARE leaks somewhere. But for $6.5K, I’d gladly send it to an experienced mechanic for a little love.

A rust free Fiat 124 is a NP until proven otherwise. Even if this one has rust repairs done in its past, I can’t argue with what you get for a mere $6,500.

i hope that steering wheel was just too hard for the previous owner and that disgusting cover isn’t hiding anything weird or broken. NP.

When I was a kid the X 1/9 was my affordable dream car. Always loved the look of those things! Color me jealous.

Easiest NP in a while. $6500 is close to fun money in today’s car market, and this is about as clean as you could hope to find one of these outside of a ritzy auction house. Buy it, drive it for a year, sell it for the same or more next year.

100% awesome for a guy who doesn’t mind a getting grease under his fingernails.

K20 swap.
