We’re still missing a Dodge Caravan Hellcat, though. That will be when we reach peak enthusiast.

even a honda fit comes with adaptive cruise standard. i’ve had 2 cars with it and i’ll never buy another one without it. if i have to pay 50k to get adaptive cruise and the v6, i just won’t.
So you had me pretty excited at “for the fraction of the price of a 340i”. Then I read “priced as tested, $50,100".
Sadly, the E class depreciation doesn’t seem to afflict those wagons.
About 15 years later bought a 308GTS Ferrari, and while much nicer sounding and prettier it wasn’t THAT much more fun to drive than the awesome little Fiats.
In HS I had a Black ‘79 without AC in Florida. I just couldn’t keep it in college given the commuting. In 50K miles it never failed me. I would like another just for fun. I miss unique cars like that. We live in bland Lexus land.
My X 1/9 was restored from a condition similar to the one you found in that yard.
It’s more the fact that it doesn’t make sense to put 2,500$ in repairs on a car that is only worth 500$.
Maybe she meant the pricetag. $70k for a sedan in 2018. GTFOH with that bs pricing!
It’s been a fine car. It’s like having a fully loaded Focus Titanium that’s silent (besides the quiet electric motor it also has extra door seals to keep out road noise). Single speed transmission and nice torque makes passing at highway speeds is easy. Going on three years, and it’s only been in for service once for…
In a 5.9 it’s required.
Michael, you are spot on. The Japanese had this figured out a long time ago, with their gentleman’s agreement to cap their production vehicles at 300hp.
Disagree, they look amazing all the time. Class all the way
Your used Escalade does not make you look rich. Why?
I wonder if a GM employee got a jelly of the month membership instead of an actual bonus, and leaking these photos are the revenge.
Right? a 4.4 sec car is going to feel plenty fast. And you’re going to be able to actually put your foot flat on a backroad for more than .75 sec before you’re in ludicrous territory.
I respect Glickenhaus, but those CAD drawings also look like they’re from the 90s
The Charger is cheaply built. It’s not a competitor to this
GT2 starts at $49,200??!?!?!?!?!
No, not like the one in the Miata.
