For portability the netbook had it, well portability with a full OS. My biggest let down from being an actual user, not an observer, of netbooks is that they were slow as molasses on a cold day. Regardless of what you did, it was going to be done slow. I replaced it with an iPad, that had better portability, faster

That was the idea with Facetime but it was never made public.

This is the internet sir...

So you're saying ICS is better and use a bad picture as proof. Cute.

As a daily user of an iPad and iPhone, I don't get what you're saying, can you elaborate? I'm just curious where you see these shortfalls.

This really pisses me off. I really like the look, feel and build quality of Apple computers but I have to run Win7, the software that makes me money is only for Windows. No other manufacturer can match Apple when it comes to those three aspects that I look for in a portable machine.

FALSE, the 3G can not upgrade to iOS5.

Still better then zero upgrade.

I did, until the last time I used it. It showed me the wrong building 1.5 miles away from where it was supposed to be. POS, it almost caused me to be late because I was thinking that there was no way in hell that Google Maps was wrong. It was wrong.

Maybe, I didn't explain it correctly or you're just being blind. Apple has rejected apps before for this, but they do allow apps in everyday that replicate existing stock apps. There's been plenty of high profile occasions of app rejections with this reason. It's up to Apple when it wants to enforce this.

They have before and will continue to do so, under their terms of being an app dev you can't have apps that duplicate an existing function of the phone. The baked in maps app will be the existing app, its up to Apple to let it in or not.

Real question.. whats wrong with it? I don't use my iPhone to view many youtube videos but I do use my iPad a lot more with youtube. I've seen many commenters complain about it but I never figured out whats so wrong with it.

NO the maps only work in one direction, towards Apple stores. Oh and if you want to browse you'll only be able to browse Cupertino.

Why not just use the MLS (I think that's what it is) listings, or shit use Trulia or that one app that starts with a Z. Those are the best tools for home hunting.

It adds features that are in iOS5. Of course a what.. 3-4 year old device won't support the latest features like a iP4S, but if you look at the G1 (first Android), the 3G or shit even the first iPhone have been supported longer. This debate is pretty clear on who has longer support.

Damn it, I'm really tired of Apple stealing all these ideas from Android. It has to stop now.

Oh cute, another uninformed commenter. One word, WhiteD00r.

Vaporizers don't use fire, just heat to produce vapor.

That's a stupid assumption right there, the common cell phone/smartphone user is coming off of a contract when they upgrade. Be it 2 or 3 years in some places, most users are not going to be replacing their phones after one year. So yes this is an improvement over the iPhone 4, if you say its not well you're just

SSSHHHHH, let him have his made up facts, don't break him down like that.. he'll be too fragile.
