That’s my guess, yeah.

Almost all of these are millennial slang. “Stan” in particular is a reference to an Eminem song that came out in 2000, before Gen Z was born. (It’s also not a portmanteau of “stalker” and “fan”). And people used “pressed” when I was in middle school in the 90s.
My cat will ONLY sleep on plastic grocery bags so I have to put plastic grocery bags on cat beds in order for him to sleep on the cat bed
I use SkyMap, it’s fine if a little cutesy.
I saw Hamilton on tour and before the show started the woman next to me excitedly told me this was her 6th time seeing it and I knew then she was going to be very annoying the whole night (she was)
When my brother was 3 or 4 he got chased around a farm by a goose, so I beg to differ.
If buying the book isn’t an option, you can also request that your local library pre-order it. Same as an independent bookstore, a librarian will see that there is interest in the book and might order more copies or read it themselves or recommend it to other patrons.
Fruit is hard or mushy depending on how ripe it is. It doesn't have anything to do with cloning.
Because that’s not what cloning is. Every banana plant is a clone; does that make all bananas automatically good? No. Tastiness of fruit has little to do with genetics.
Stuffed animals! Bacteria-city.
I feed my cat right before I go to bed and he sleeps way later than I do. Which is a separate kind of problem because it’s very hard to get up for work on time when he’s being very cuddly.
Personally I fall into the 3:1 Cherry Coke camp but I think we can all agree that the most important thing is to fill the cup almost all the way up and then bang it on the counter to get the air bubbles out and then fill it up again
This was so frustrating and took me out of the story! Obviously Aaron won’t give her her stuff, including the pills, because he wants to control her, but there’s no reason a character should get away with saying “you don’t need the pill for 3 days because you won’t be having sex”, a statement which is blatantly wrong…
My birthday is in early April and my mom used to make me a lamb birthday cake every single year when I was a kid and I loved it! She used shredded coconut on the outside to look like fur but I think your frosting looks more realistic.
My parents scared me so much about college loan debt (in the early 2000s! They were ahead of their time) that I ended up choosing a school that was not a great culture fit for me, just because I could afford to pay all 4 years’ tuition with my college fund. In hindsight I wish I had gotten $5k-$10k in loans and gone…
A whole article about domesticating rhinos and not a word about elephants, which have been domesticated in real life for the exact same purpose?
“Back"? There's one every week
The Washington Times was started and is still owned by an Evangelical cult, and is known for its racist, islamophobic, and anti-science stance. I’d be hesitant to use them as a source.
Doesnt work very well on paper ;-)
Thats a good point, I think it depends on how many letters you need and if you can then guess the answer from having an additional letter or two. I was mostly thinking that if you Google the clue you will get more context for the answer than just looking at the letters in the solution, and might retain the information…
