Autodimming mirrors are also fairly common. My 09 G8 came with a manual mirror, but i was able to swap in an autodimming unit from a Buick Rainier- same exact mirror, with onstar compatability, airbag indicator and a digital compass. The only difference is the new one out of the Rainier autodims at night. Same
