I think they sometimes go with more restrictive set-ups in order to meet a noise target- I mean, we all love engine noise, but I can tell you with most less restrictive aftermarket set ups you can get drone, or buzziness that can be annoying on longer drives.

I'm going to pay off my daily this fall, then I'm going start putting that cash aside in savings for a lift, and reconfiguring my garage door so that once my wifes daily is paid off in 2014 I can buy a 3rd "fun" car (probably an S2000) and stack / store it with my others in the current garage.

I remember this- I was also in the immediate vicinity right after this happened (my folks live in Spring TX). Really poor judgement IMO, but I'm not sure I agree with the felony charge- not that it matters.
