You just gotta find the right guys to do it. I used to work at a shop where we did motor swaps and builds, and there were two main things that held us back when we were trying to get cars out the door.
though i feel like there’s not the full story from either party here. the motor could have had some unexpected repairs, or the swap itself could have some unexpected setbacks.. custom setups tend to do that
But the racing version of the TT RS had about as much to do with the street car as Kanye West has to do with common sense
Yawn. I’m so over LS swaps. It would have been way more interesting if they would have used something like a Russian air cooled diesel V4 outboard or a sack of weasels.
Or you know... drive a diesel that doesn’t have emissions issues? Seriously this comment wreaks of “fuck you I got mine!” The VW emissions scandal is a scandal for a reason, and everyone should be concerned about NOx emissions, even climate change deniers.
That’d instantly make it go from the worst to one of the best Motorsports to watch.

I’ve only had one true “barn find” incident in my life personally. I was about 18 years old and worked for JC Penney. During my lunch one summer, I was looking through the Dallas Times Herald’s car classifieds and saw “Old Mercury for Sale. Make offer.” with the phone number. It was late in the day, on a Friday, but I…
I really dont care for cars with artificial crack and pop.
Mine weren’t.
I believe its called “fun”. Give it a try sometime.

It’s important to note that feral hogs are a real problem across the southern US, and anyone killing them off is doing a real service.
