Yeah but the added cost gets you nothing in terms of real world performance gains. And those chips are bulky as hell. I'll take a slim line, low power (and low heat) 980m at 4Gb any day over a 12lbs "laptop" that bores a hole through my desk because it is so damn hot.

The mod only improves frame rates for most people from what I've read across the internet so far. Not only does it make the game look like it should, it makes it play better.
