Omg, I can’t listen to “you are my sunshine” anymore. When I was a teenager, I adopted a puppy and my mom (who hates all living animals) made me give him away; the night before I had to give him to his new parents, I kept singing that to him as I was balling b/c I was so sad. So yeah, I feel you.
