It depends on the flashback, sometimes it’s clear that someone is mentally thinking in detail about a time in their past. The character either stares into space or another character snaps them out of it.

Why would they lie about it? They’re implementing same sex concubines on this update and committing to do gay marriage on the next one. What would possibly be the reason to do a minor delay.

Weeds is interesting because the fan complain is completely the opposite problem of Shameless. Fans just wanted the status quo of the first few seasons to return whereas Kohan kept it moving forward. It’s not hard to imagine a Shameless type thing happening if she hadn’t done that.

I think these recaps have been particularly good, even if the show was bad. I thought they were more worth reading than a lot of blandly-good show coverage would have been.

Fully agree on that being the issue with Pac Man. The variants they have to add to the game to fit a 99 game are extremely obviously an overlay on top of the core gameplay. It’s much much more natural for Tetris.

It’s a fun show! As the review gets at, it gets a little flabby in later seasons but it’s mercifully only a half hour so it’s no big deal.

I literally heard 10 seconds of this show when it was on the other room and it was that exchange. The set up was his sister making fun of him for not having any women in his book, and his response/the punchline was that the book was about a 1907 prison baseball team.

The needle is much bigger than the flu shot or TDAP, which I got semi-recently.

I’m sure that’s part of it, but also, if “drive-thrus, delivery options, and digital sales channels” were important, it seems like Subway is just awfully positioned.

I think this analysis is a bit off. Take Hemsworth specifically, Thor was not great, Thor 2 was actively bad, he wasn’t anyone’s favorite part of Avengers 1 or 2.
